Fourth-year students from The Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto share how they used a machine learning model and non-invasive EEG brain scans to capture and reconstruct an image that the subject was shown. This technology has potential to help those who are conscious but unable to communicate, or who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder - or maybe one day to see what a newborn is picturing.
