An excellent video to test your ECG Rhythm interpretation skills. This video gives you a collection of about 20 back-to-back ECG Rhythms. In each ECG strip, you are given 15 seconds for interpretation. Test yourself and your colleagues. You may give your score in the comments section.
18 and above correct answers: You are a STAR
14 - 17 correct answers: You are GOOD
13 and less correct answers: You need to come again for re-test after refreshing your ECG knowledge.
P.S: This video only includes ECG Rhythms and not Ischemia-related ECGs.

The rhythm at 6:31 shows Normal Sinus Rhythm, not a PAC as listed. It would be an irregular rhythm.

For the ECG labelled sinus arrhythmia, I think it may be wandering atrial pacemaker instead given that the p waves have different morphologies.
@bettysmith4527
@bettysmith4527 2 года назад
That is due to artifact, and is not a change in morphology. Change in morphology would include inverted, or lacking all together, as well as a change in shape. In order to have a wondering atrial pacemaker you need at least three different morphologies.
@tornikekharbedia8650
@tornikekharbedia8650 2 года назад
@@bettysmith4527 There are 3 different morphologies..
@valentinocaine2294
@valentinocaine2294 2 года назад
Look at the irregularity though. Sinus arrhythmia changes on breathing. A WAP will have different P wave morphologies, however, the overall rhythm should be regular if not nearly regular.

Can someone explain to me how 6:57 is PAC? I'm not taking a class or anything, this is just a reoccurring hyperfixation of mine. But the only thing I can see is the different morphology of some p waves. I thought PAC's usually led to an irregular rate? Thanks in advance!

3:05 don't junctional rhythms have narrow QRS complexes? This looks more like vtach since the QRS is wide
@iganpparamarta8813
@iganpparamarta8813 Год назад
Possibly from an aberrant conduction, my guess was VTach too = regular wide QRS tachy + taller left ear. If you look closely there are small P waves very close to QRS complex, as explained by dr.Ken Grauer those Ps can't be sinus.

Atrial Flutter actually has a fast HR typically around 300
@brandionatuesday9411
@brandionatuesday9411 3 месяца назад
No…at that point 300 bpm it would be SVT. You can have a rate of less than 100 with a rhythm of a flutter.
@TheWiseGorilla
@TheWiseGorilla 2 дня назад
A-Fib has an ATRIAL rate of 300, which is why you cannot discern the p waves. A-Flutter does not have a Hr of 300. I usually see A-Flutter at a rate of 150ish.

Sir after importing data to SPSS from Kobo toolbox, the data type is automatically left as string (even those that should be numerical) and measure is automatically left as Nominal (including those that should be scale or ordinal). Is there a way to import so that it is imported the correct way or I must always edit manually after importing it? Thanks sir.

I appreciate you all providing educational content however whoever made this video has no business making an EKG video, there are mistakes and incorrect terminology throughout. At 6:55 it says "Premature atrial rhythm" which they then abbreviated "PAC" which actually stand for premature atrial contraction. Also that PR does not look short but it's also hard to tell because it's not on an EKG background (like with squares). Even if the PR is normal the p wave morphology is normal except in one spot. Also at 3:05 that's too wide to be junctional. AT 5:56 that's SR with PVC's NOT "premature ventricular rhythm" which isn't even really a correct term. And again it has PVC next to it which stand for premature ventricular contraction NOT what they specified. 7:03 looks like there's a pacer spike in front of the QRS, obviously there isn't because the complex isn't wide however whoever drew that picture misrepresents it a little.

Alice looks like YOU have more studying to do dear! Junctional rhythms can in fact be wide if you have aberrant conduction either because the patient has an underlying bundle branch block, or because of slower conduction secondary to a faster rate. In 7:03 that is an ATRIAL PACEMAKER (hence the pacer spike you see before the P wave), as identified in the video, which WOULD NOT cause widening of the QRS since the impulse would be traveling down the atria and into the AV junction normally. READ UP BEFORE YOU INSULT THE WORK OF OTHERS, it is you who needs to study!! I will give you your first complaint about the PAC, there was no PAC in that running strip, so yes they screwed up that one.
