Most Echeveria like direct sunlight; so, it's hard for me to pick one for you. One of my favorites is Echeveria Romeo Rubin. So easy "for me" to grow in direct sun, frost, rain and had been growing for about 5 years in a ceramic pot open to the element. This very same plant is quite problematic to grow for other people.
Ok.. I propagated a pink echeveria numberg its small but so cute. I put it in a 3in pot. How long to let it grow in that pot? I want it to get bigger! It's indoors
You're laui's are amazing but letizas are always showstoppers!!! What was that big giant broadleaf thing on the ground underneath the letiza? I love that whole section
Liz I need your opinion on something we have a very very old manure pile on the bottom it's maybe been sitting over 10 years so it's been worked through by the worms and when I tell you it's black gold, it's probably the best soil around. Can I sterilize it with boiling water? I put some in a sock and poured two teapot of boiling water in the bucket and let it sit. Do you think that's enough to kill any pathogens or larvae that may have been in there? I'm so freaked out because I opened up a Brand New bag of perlite yesterday and it was so musty smelling and discolored. I put it out to dry and it just kept turning more and more colors so I just threw it out. That stuff is expensive here, $12 for an 8 oz bag!! And I've already caught two plants with root Rot, thankfully I got them in time I was able to recognize the signs and I saved them but the manure in my soil mix is a new thing for me so I want to make sure that I don't introduce anything harmful. And no, I'm not going to bake it in the oven LOL my mother will pitch a total fit 🤣🤣🤣
