I honestly thought the piston would be wrecked, I do wonder of some one had put water on it, or fuel with water, but I’d only really have an idea if I rip it apart. If I have the time I still might we will see 🙂👍
Hi I’m still tempted to do the bearings, I’ll probably enquire about the cost and if not to much I may do them, not sure so it’s a case of watch this space. 🙂👍
Hi yes I think this one will go on ok, but part of me is still tempted to do the bearings and seals. I may do if I have the time and it would make a video, I’ll see. They still have a bit of value so it might be worth it. But for what it is it works ok Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi Luke, the machine looks almost new! Personally I'd have to strip it apart and replace the bearings but that's me😁. I reckon as you say moisture has got in and the noise is the bearings.👍
Hi that’s what I think, but I may take the fan off as that’s easy and see if that could be making the noise, I don’t think it is but worth a try before stripping it down. I’m like you I would like to replace the bearings and seals but time is an issue, I have a lot to sort. It does work so I’m in two minds atm. Possibly maybe more on this 🙂👍
I have the big brother the PB8010, that would blow this one away, literally 😂 yeah I’ve always been an echo fan but I don’t think the build quality it’s quite as good as it use to be, but that can be said for most makes nowadays. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi I’m pleased the video helped you, there will be another video coming up on this soon, that will be on my other channel here is the link ru-vid.com/show-UCqpqBkUfzve4gmSi9D838ng Thanks for watching 🙂👍
It as very cheap, I personally think it would go on years as it is, it’s not bad but I’d really like it better. I still may strip it down we will see 🙂👍
It’s not bad am I totally happy with it? Not sure, but it was certainly better outcome than I thought it would be, I thought for sure that piston would be wrecked. 🙂👍

wow Luke having similar problems newbiee to engines ,given a stil 430 backpack blower, for free no fuel in engine or tank , if I pull the cord feels like the cord will break, remove spark plug ,cord will work fine and rewinds and piston moves up and down , why o why when spark plug is in engine , the cord feels it may snap ???, .why is compression so hard to pull with spark plug in ???
@@menditman2004 no still the same am afraid ,wit the exhaust off thier are s4 to 5 score marks on the exhaust side , poured some oil as your video down spark plug and notice a hissing sound and some very small bubbles 1mm to 2 mm on the edges of the piston side of the exhaust ,when the piston goes up and down as your viewing the piston moving from the exhaust side , . might pull it apart eeeekkkkk LOL , do you thing it could be key on flywheel seared , bearings or seals , or more likely piston , once scored is it toast do you think
@@t008mx If you feel confident enough take it apart, if the piston is damaged check the bore and if it isn’t to bad use some light sand paper to sand any sharp areas, I’ve done that before. You can buy cheap pistons for these. Just one thing even with the spark plug out is it quite hard to pull over?
