ECHO EGi 2300W & EGi 4000W Inverter Generator with ECHO COMMAND Bluetooth Technology
In this video we take a look at some video footage of the new ECHO EGi2300W and EGi 4000W Inverter Generators unveiled at the ECHO 20 for 2020 event this past fall. These two new inverter generators feature ECHO COMMAND bluetooth wireless technology that allow you to monitor the load, fuel, and run time left on the generator, as well as remotely shut off the unit or reset the circuit breaker. Both of these inverter generators also feature built in carbon monoxide detectors.

To bad you couldn't have demonstrated the generator when they weren't demonstrating what sounded like a chainsaw. Also would have liked to have heard the sound levels of both gens without the chainsaw in the background.

Yeah unfortunately there were too many people and 20 new tools unveiled that day. So they had different stations for the different tool demonstrations. All going on at the same time and would rotate groups through the stations. Thanks for watching.

The Echo generators are rebranded Ryobi models so maybe you can find more info on noise level with those. Thanks for watching.

Any idea how many decibels the egi4000 generator is? Is a quiet run generator?

I have no idea on decibels but I think it’s much louder then the other models. It’s an inverter generator but the engine is in an open frame design not in a enclosed suitcase style like the quieter ones. Thanks for watching.

@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess I've been waiting for someone to demo these products so thank you. I'd like to have the 4000 for the house and the 2300 to use at the camp. Do you have any idea what the 4000 will retail for?

I just purchased a new EGI-4000, put oil in it, and found I needed a custom funnel. I have several funnels for use on other products and cars, but none will fit. Also, the manual said there is no oil in the crankcase. Imagine my surprise when I found it full! Now I need to drain the oil, buy a funnel with a flexible hose, transmission funnel; then I can get it running. What joke. When I’m out on a job site, it would be nice to use a regular funnel, not the "special" echo 4000 funnel. I purchased this at SunPro and will be returning it to get a generator with an engine designed for the generator. Meaning it is serviceable.

I like the video my only question why would you make a video with someone running a chain saw in the back ground that was a poor Decision.

Because they had all their new tools set up in stations in the parking lot, and groups of people at each station all the time. So there was always people trying out the chain saws. So the question is not why would I do a video but why would echo fly everyone out to the event to create content then have everyone in close proximity with each other running noisy machines. Echo and ryobi are the same only differences are the colors.

Yeah I discovered that after. I thought they had come up with some cool new generators but turns out it’s just rebadged Ryobi. Pretty disappointing considering they make there own trimmers, blowers and chainsaws. Thanks for watching.

Get a smartphone, download the app, then look at your phone and it will tell you how much fuel you have. You know, like a fuel gauge.

My EGI-4000 is junk, been in shop for 4 months. Not the ECHO of yesterday. Spend your money at Harbor Freight, wish I had bought there first I wouldn’t have a useless generator in the shop.

That’s unfortunate. My guess is ECHO contracted out another company to build generators for them as Ryobi have some models that look identical. It’s too bad they do that and risk their reputation. All the stuff they build in house at their facility in Chicago like string trimmes, chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers etc is rock solid in my experience. Thanks for watching.
