Thankful I came across this tutorial! Amazing and inspiring! Especially for Autumn. Resulted in having to have to the collage cutting die featured toward the end. Many, many thanks for sharing and for your creativity.
I love Love from Lizi peel and stick strips so much, especially the copper for something like Fall. Your cards are lovely. Your nail polish color goes perfectly with the color scheme of the paper pad. :D The music is so pretty and nice to listen to.
mawmawvee Thank you! Lizi’s Peel Off stickers are amazing! I use them as often as possible. 😊 It’s always fun coordinating my nail polish with the paper collection.
I like the slower video and it is so awesome how precise you are when putting the layers on the card base. I want to be like you as I grow in my cardmaking skills. (smile) Loved every single card! God Bless.
OHMYGOSH thank you for this video! Today was chemotherapy day and I came to your channel hoping for a new vid to watch. It’s here! You’re extra-awesome without even trying! 😍
What a beautiful fall collection filled with awesome fall colors! My favorite time of year 🍁🍂. I love the textured speciality paper you used and the embossed leaves folder❤️. TFS 💖💖💖
Ella Conner Thank you! I just love fall cards. And this paper collection is so beautiful. 😊 I’m trying to figure out when I will have time to use another fall 6x6 paper pad. My video to-do-list keeps getting longer and longer. 😮
Kristie, I love the fall papers in this pad; from the tractor with hay wagon, to the fall colored leaves, the wild animals and the ephemera really make your cards a delightful Fall collection!
This was a lovely video! I enjoyed the slower speed. I love Fall colors and this was such an amazing combination of colors and cut-aparts that it is very inspiring to pull out my card making supplies!
Beautiful collection of autumn cards! I am always amazed at your artistry as you create your cards. I just love all the warm rustic colours of Fall. You can almost smell the warm cider and pumpkin lattes in the air😊. Another lovely video Kristie!
The mitered corners are such a nice detail! I even hav that knife and never thought to do that with washi or paper strips. I love all the fall colors!! 💙💙💙💙 TFS
Crafting and Relaxing Thank you! I love making fall cards so much! 🍁 The mitered corners with the peel offs is actually a technique I learned from Lizi. I really like the look. 😊💖
I love watching your videos. You just give me so much inspiration as well as ideas. Every one of those cards was so pretty. BTW I like the slower video. Thank you for sharing🤗☺️
So very pretty!! The peel offs added so much!! I love your videos.; being a littler slower is helpful. If you did a workshop on video production, I’d be there in a minute!!? TFS!❤️
Lil Crafty Nook Thank you! I love adding Peel Offs to my cards. They are amazing! I’m still trying to figure out how to do a class/workshop since I know many people are interested. 🙂
Striking cards as always, Kristie. Yes, I did like the slower speed of this video. I also liked the addition of your use of the foiled papers by Tonic. Even though the EF is showing as sold out, I did wonder if using it with the foil CS required lightly spritzing the paper first, so that it would not "crack" when run through the folder? Also, what is the preferred way for you to notifiy your fans as to when Love From Lizi is offering free shipping? That would be a big help in placing an order with her company. Love your use of her peel-off products, especially with the Holidays coming right up. Thank you for another entertaining video.
Linda S. in NE Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. The specialty cardstock added such a lovely touch to the cards. Bummer the embossing folder sold out already. Hopefully it’ll get restocked soon. I didn’t do anything to the specialty cardstock before dry embossing it. The Tonic paper is a nice weight and I didn’t notice any cracking. I will always share any sales for Love From Lizi on my Instagram and Facebook pages. Sometimes I’ll post a video as well. 🙂
Thank you for brightening another day ♡ You're so right about the embossing folder used with the specialty paper -- gorgeous effect!! Hugs from NH {{{♡♡♡}}}
Tracy Tracy Thank you for your kindness and continued support. 💖 I just love using specialty paper and Peel Off stickers on my cards. They add such a lovely touch. 😊
Another gorgeous set of cards. I'm always inspired by your videos, no matter what the speed, but I do like it a bit slower so we can see your process :).
The embossing folder on that gold foil paper is beautiful!!! I loved how you used it. I kind of struggle with those ephemera packs but girl you rocked it out. It was good you backed some of them to make them pop. Such a cute paper line and if you where trying to get me ready for fall you have succeeded. Lovely cards and wonderful inspiration.
Sherry Somers Lol! Forever, huh? It won’t be too long before I share another 6x6 video. I have several fall, Halloween, and Christmas paper pads I want to use. 🙂
Hi Kristie. My favorite videos from you! I like the video a little slower, can keep up better. I bought this paper, embossing folder and ephemera, made a couple of cards, so watching you gets me inspired to finish it. Beautiful cards, as always. Always love the music too. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Donna Murphy-Vallee Thank you! Using 6x6 paper pads is still my favorite way to make cards. I have several more paper pads just waiting for me. Happy crafting! 😊
You are incredible with somehow taking supplies and using sketches. I can't seem to master that concept. And believe me when I say I have SUPPLIES! It's the connection to card sketches that evades me. I love watching you! Always amazed at what you create! I appreciate you're identifying the matching cardstock to 6X6. That has been a BIG struggle for me, the matching of cardstock. It has deflated me more than once. Do you have any feelings on someone CAS'ing your work and then selling at a local craft fair?
Robin Blank Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. I do my best to list the cardstock colors and brands. However, a lot of my cardstock has been hanging out in my craft room for years and isn’t labeled. It’s fine if you want to CASE my cards to sell. I always appreciate a shout out if you share on social media. 🙂
have you thought about the spellbinders card kit? i would love to see how many cards you can make out of those! love your videos. I thought at one point you were talking about a class on how you pick your sketches/use the paper pads etc. I am still interested.
Mary Ann P I’ve never really looked into Spellbinder’s kits before, but I’m sure they are fun. I’m on Love From Lizi’s design team. She makes monthly kits. I also guest design once in awhile for Pink & Main and Scrapping for Less using their monthly kits. My crafty plate is already quite full at the moment. I am still planing on doing a class series about my 6x6 tutorial. I just haven’t had time over the summer to really look into it yet.
Love to watch and get inspiration. Would love to be able to use the peel offs but it seems they’re always sold out. I have thought about cutting my own out of vinyl but I don’t think I would be able to cut them skinny enough.
Jeannie Greer Thank you! Lizi sells a huge variety of Peel Off stickers. She even offers free shipping once in awhile. I’ll always share about her Peel Off sales. 🙂
Jeanie Spinks Hmmm... I didn’t change my settings at all and the lighting looks fine on my computer and iPad. Hopefully my future videos look fine for you.
I love these videos and I too like it slower so I can see what you are doing. I have started making cards with my mom and sister to donate. We have been hesitant to add gems to send to children. Do you put gems on your kid cards? Thanks so much for sharing.
Renai Johnson Thank you! How wonderful that you craft with your mom and sister. I’m sure the cards you donate are greatly appreciated. I currently don’t donate cards to children. Most of mine are going to small charities and retirement homes. But when I have donated cards to a children’s hospital, I did leave off the bling. It’s always better to be safe. You can use paper embellishments or Nuvo drops instead. 🙂
All the cards turned out super cute! Definitely gives me inspiration for my 6x6 pads! I like the slower speed of video. Thank you for asking our opinion on that! If you dont mind me asking, (I understand if you dont want to reveal) where do you get your sketches from? Thx
Stevie Toledo Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. 😊 I find the card sketches online from several different websites. Mojo Monday, MFT, and Sketch Saturday are just a few. I share links for the sketches on my coordinating blog post. (My blog Link is in the description box.)
I can't remember if I've asked this before but how much atg tape do you go through in a month? 😂😂 You must buy it in bulk Hahaha! Anyway! Thanks for sharing, as always! Youre so talented and informative! 😘💜
Veronica Walters Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. 😊 I’ve never really kept track of how much ATG refills I use each month. But I do buy it in bulk. I purchase a case of 144 rolls from Tape Jungle. I watch for it to go on sale and usually pay less than a dollar per roll. 🙂
Hello, i love your work and I am getting ready to attempt a card selection. I am narrowing it down but I have a question, how do you chose a paper pad to my multiple cards with? I was looking at Echo Park fashionista as I want to make cards for my girlfriends for me to give them 1 and to include 2 blank cards as a share the thought kinda thing. Will this work with all paper pads or do you look for something specific when selecting? Thanks
Tamara SD Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. You really can use any paper pad and make multiple cards. I have several brands I prefer. Echo Park being one of them. But I’ve used a huge variety of different brands. I like collections that have a nice mix of tone on tone and busier designs. It helps balance out the cards. Paper pads that are mostly busy patterns still work, but I will then use more solid cardstock to balance out those busy patterns. I hope you have fun creating your cards. I’m sure your friends will love them. 💖
I have two in general questions please. How do you decide which sketches to use? And do you ever have problems with the tape sort of walking off the roller on your tape gun? I had one of those and could never really use it because every time I tried the tape would work it's way off the roller (the one touching the paper and releasing the tape- I hope that makes sense) and trying to get it back on involved lots of tearing and wasted tape... Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your videos!
Minalynn53 Hello! There are several things I consider when selecting sketches. Usually I look for sketches based on what size paper scraps are available. Or if there a specific image I want to feature on a card, I’ll search for a sketch that will accommodate it. Other times, I just want to try out a new-to-me sketch. I have had faulty ATG refills before. For that specific problem, custom shims are very helpful. Use a piece of cardboard, cereal box thickness, and cut out a circle just a bit larger than the rape roll. Then cut a smaller circle in the center to fit snuggly around the roller. It’ll help keep the tape in place. You could also contact the company about the defective roll. I buy my refills from Tape Jungle and get a few fussy rolls once in awhile. But generally the shim corrects the problem.
Nancy Kassa Hello. The peel off stickers are an exclusive Love From Lizi product. I have a direct link listed in the description box. The company is based in the UK, but she ships worldwide. I absolutely love peel offs and use them all the time. 💖
Grace P Hello. They are called Peel offs stickers and are sold by Love From Lizi. Her company is based in the UK, but she ships worldwide. I have a direct link for the peel offs in the description box. 🙂
Deborah Carr I purchase a full case of 8 1/2 x 11” cardstock from a local paper store. I pay them to cut the paper in half for card bases, then I score and fold them myself. I like to use a nice heavy weight cardstock for my card bases.🙂
