Really been enjoying this game pretty much at the end of the story now at the lava zone and just been logging in to chill and surf around and kill stuff it quite relaxing and laid back, really good for getting rid of stress. The story isnt too involved and feels nostalgic in its writing out of like old duke nukem games.

It's a game where the dev said "wouldn't it be cool if..." a bunch of times and just put all of that stuff into the game, then built the story and world around that instead of the other way around. I dig that.

at 1:10:10 the game tells you to leave the worm for health and ammo and come back. you ended up doing that in the end but idk if you forgot about the message or something? i guess it makes sense since most of the other messages dont seem that important XD at least you had fun in the other parts of the game

Yeah I guess I didn't see that, but honestly I think that's kind of a boring result and ends up taking me out of the flow of the fight... Oh well I guess, it's hardly a huge issue just kind of not a huge fan of how that plays out.

You know, the Sandworm fight is really good if you actually get accustomed with the movement system. The massive lava gap is very easy to jump over entirely, so you just cut through the middle of the desert. Also jumping up and grappling back to the ground is very fast, especially if you angle parallel to the point that you grapple onto for example. In short, if you're not bad at the game, the fight becomes a lot more fun. Sorry for the shade, but it was just as disheartening for me to see you have a bad time with the fight that was basically my favourite moment in the game, as it was frustrating for you to play it. And as for the intention at 1:21:40, you can just go front to back flying past the enemies and taking out weakpoints quickly and moving on.

Honestly I don't think it's as simple as you're saying, I did jump that gap multiple times and I still find the downtime of just getting to the boss pointless and frustrating, and while the overall spectacle is nice the gameplay is not as fun as other parts of the game for me regardless how I approached it. And "skill issue"ing this is just a deflection, I feel like I have legitimate grievances about the boss that you're just dismissing and I did completely fine in the rest of the game and understood the mechanics fine I feel. If you enjoyed it, fine, but boiling it down to "you're just bad" is honestly completely missing my point. Even design shortcomings aside, bosses in this game were also consistently glitchy as all hell for me, I had grapples not behave how they should and multiple times I just completely clipped through and fell out of the boss. Glad you enjoyed it I suppose, but hope the dev is listening to criticism and patches these bosses up accordingly cause IMO they still need a bit of work but they have the potential to be awesome, it's the only mediocre part of an otherwise fantastic game for me.

the radar in the bottom left shows you orbs and hats, game tells you this at some point, but it seems you loaded the message already and missed it
