Just one last word about this performance for me. It's only getting better folks...this band is a shooting star. We are witnessing the rise of a band that eclipses some of the finest progressive bluegrass work we have ever heard. These boys are working there ass off. It's shows. Hit every show you can, you will thank me later.
@@chilson.fillips Yep - Brooklyn Bowl in December was the breaking point moment. Billy Strings is launching with all rockets firing! Bluegrass is not going to be the same! Bigger than "Oh Borther Where art though" by an order of magnitude.
@@chilson.fillips 2020 turned out to be a shit show, didn't it. Lucky me, I was on the rail in front of Billy for the very last show they played before the shut down. I even managed to get the set list and have it autographed by the whole band and part of the crew. Bad ass show but sucks that it was the last. Hope we get to see them again soon.
Billy deserves everything coming. Heard a got a Grammy. Heard the 🍕 stains are back. Word has it he's now doing stuff with dangerous rappers, punky antiwarriors and other multiculturalismaniacs. So glad he didn't implode. I blame his parents, Martin guitars, bluegrass, death and black metal, incredible intelligence, an open soul, lots of drugs and one midnight deal with a guy on a crossroads in North Carolina that said "I'll make you a ☆, but every time you solo, you must wear all the turmoil and tinfoil upon your pretty face." 🙃😘 Big love from an old fan! This performance 🎭 is magnificent.

For some reason I would always past Billy Strings up till one day I decided to give a lisen. Now, feel kind stupid for passing him by. His musicianship speaks for itself.
Sitting under my tin roof back porch after a thunderstorm and when the boys finished "I'm Still Here" the rain on the roof sounded like an audience clapping. I love this band. It soothes my soul.
@@mikebastiat that's too bad, at least then you'd be becoming SOMETHING. As it stands you appear to be completely useless. But, keep your head up even worthless trolls can experience joy. Troll on, tool.
Joe Polizzi And tonight they just did and are coming back in sept...thanks, ironworks...he was just other worldly in talent and jam...a reincarnation of Jerry ...
Dear Joe Polizzi, I believe your increasing your good health 😎 ... I’m with you all the way. Billy’s nimble fret work is “chin-to-chest” amazing. Be Well 👍 Michael
Now in 2022 and Billy Strings and Band of Strings is taking names kicking ass. I'm going to Ireland, got lucky and wicked sweet fan sold me his ticket.. I'm hoping can get couple more for my cousins in Ireland too they are all sold out too... 💚👁️💚👣🎵🎶🎻🩰🎧🎤🎸🪕❤️✌️🩰💸💚🇮🇪
Drew Matlitch shreds on mandolin. Billy Strings Vocals and guitar are outstanding. A group of super talented musicians who are the most innovative new grass players these days.
I wasn’t expecting to see different men playing mandolin and bass with Billy. I thought once he formed the quartet it was always Billy, Billy, Royal and Jerrod. Great performance!
Billy and the boys are The Bidness! Love the "intimate" setting and excellent audio. Hope the recognition comes for Billy and perhaps the talented gents around him will provide the right chemistry for him to grow and polish his off-the-charts talent. Keep bringin' it guys!
Love, love, love Billy and the Boys - all are extremely talented- I never listened bluegrass until I heard Billy Strings - now that's all I listen to. In addition to being a great talent he shares every concert and promo gig he does on RU-vid. As soon as I think Ive watched all his videos 5 more pop up. I can't get enough!!!!!!
Billy is proof that country doesnt only thrive in the south...that boyz got more soul than any southern blue grass/country/rockabilly singer/guitar player out there...how bout that? And a michigander to top it off...Hot damn son you got some fuckin skills!
I have really enjoyed each time I have seen you can't wait to see you face to face I might be far back from you but I love you an I really mean that I feel your soul from day one love always your fan Sunshine Harris ❤
The dust in a baggie song to me is the best one. It has a lot of meaning these days people dropping Dead all over.. prisons are full of addicts and mentally ill mostly. It's just plan a great song. And a great story that I think must mean something to them. It almost got me. Music can heal addiction. I hope Billy does not go the Wayward way because that's way too much talent to lose.
Pssssst. Right now I'd rather be at an ISD show than seeing Billy who I love. Why? The moron factor. The metal factor. The fckheads who can't handle their drugs. End of story.
Sey,yes to Jack of the woods on Wednesday night? Might see David Holt playing? Did you see his video of paper bags doing folk music? Or his favorite famous thunder suit? That's his stopin grounds...round there...
BILLY, GET A DeARMOND 230-240 "Wire Wound *_AND_* Piezo" Sound Hole PICKUP, and PLUG INTO THAT MARSHALL HALF STACK, VOX AC30, OR GIBSON STEREO AMP. DAYAMNNN!
