There is also a secret pity system. Mtashed covered it in his video. Basically the thing is you are guaranteed elite class echo every 4pity. Which means if you killed 3 different elite class echoes and didn't get their echoes, you are guaranteed to get the 4th one no matter what. Hope this helps people to farm efficiently.
@@lvlplusplays honestly at 3, is higher drop while 4 is guaranteed when the 3 is not drop the chance of dropping on 3 is 75% i think... thats what i know is not always drop at 4 if u want very efficiency farm those 3 cost echos just try 2-2 (2 other mob + 2 specific ones) but if u a very grinding and want to be always guaranteed then take 3-1 for guaranteed drop... it will make u burn out all day
off topic, do you have any videos regarding how good and effective lingering tunes could be? who it is best to use with and what are its pros and cons against the other elemental echo sets? also, what main stats people should go for if they're planning to pursue building one.

They need to add a function to track MULTIPLE echos, so some selector function and not just one echo at a time. Using external websites like qiqi to plan routes is nice but most of the time it’s better to have an ingame QOL to track multiple sets or echos.
That's why I prefer simply marking the map and doing as much as I can in-game; constantly tabbing out or looking at a second screen makes the farming feel worse, in my opinion.
Its not that bad yall. Building the perfect character is supposed to take a long time and most of u are forgetting. You dont even need to farm multiple sets. You can just swap the one good set. Overreacting
You forget one thing even if it drops echo with mainstat you want, u need to pray your hardest so the sub rolls is acceptable by ur personal standard, or else repeat the process all over again
To get over the innate low spawn of herons I use the pity system. I kill 3 stone golems then go for a guaranteed heron. Even if a golem drops, it's still a win-win.
Fusion isn't that bad with the massive number of Havoc Dreadmanes on the map, but I can definitely agree with Aero and Electro. Electro because there's only two 3-costs for the set and Aero because there's so few actual 3-costs on the map.
Havoc dreadmanes also come with the fusion dogs which drop healing set 1 cost too. If you also farm the 3 cost lizards you get the moonlit cloud too. So you farm parts of the whole team

I stopped farming since the echo xp we have is just really low. Lvling up too lvl 5-10 and looking if the substats are okay drains really quickly. I believe we can do this about 3-4 times per 60 energy tacet field at union 40+. And this barely increases at union 50+. So a max of 16 times a day. This excluding doing the weekly bosses and the double xp events. This just happens to be tacet field this week. But it was highly needed, or at least i wouldnt mind seeing it as the new standard. So yeah turning on some tunes and farming the overworld was fun in the first 2 weeks. But i get suitable echo's much faster than we get echo xp/tuners too upgrade them. So burning out is not my problem. If anything it's the opposite.
More spawn spots is just a way to increase your daily frustration. Ideal solution would be to higher the chance of getting on set damage type, or even introduce new enemies that would drop ONLY limited and needed stats. I understand that this echo grind is one of the endgames, but I personally don't have that much time and dedication to get an ideal piece
when exploring overworld, i usually mark places that i find having 2 or more 3 cost echos in one area to easily build pity for a guaranteed echo drop. Hope this helps❤
and now i need a feature that increase the drop rate of desrie main stat & sonata effect, increasing by 20% and only can select one stats & sonata effect once a week is fine tho😂
it wouldn't be so bad if a good 90% of those echoes were LITERALLY unusable. I'm disappointed when i get DEF 1 star echo, but you know at least if it's electro or havoc Yanwoo and Taoqi can use them and maybe some other character will further down the line. However i'm pretty sure NO FUCKING ONE will ever use that electro fusion prurple heron...
Lingering Tunes and Moonlit Clouds 3 Costs aren't really "Flexible" because elemental damage is still BIS 99% of the time. So while "flexible" in the sense that you can farm all the mainstat at once, they really aren't when you factor in Echo XP Healing set is mostly flexible since almost every user wants energy regen, with the exception of Taoqi who wants defense %
So first of all this is a practice that would have been inherited from Genshin, as their detect function has functioned this way since the very beginning and still does today. Second of all, while I can't confirm it now, as it does not function this way in WuWa *now*, I have been farming echos since pretty early on after the games launch and my echo route has not changed for certain dmg bonus echos that I've consistently farmed (while double checking interactive maps) using the detect function before killing a single version of that mob, so I'm not sure it's accurate that this was ever "changed" recently, and definitely not in just the past few days. So this seems a little bit of misinformation, although it harms nobody.
When I was farming Chaserazors for my Jiyan I am counting most of my runs. Sometimes I only have got 18 and it will say can't detect more. There's one session I had killed 20. Not sure if I am just overlapping my spawns or if all of them spawns at specific time at once during reset. Havoc Dreadmane feels more though or just because they were always in packs :D Also, not sure if many have noticed, some monsters that are like overheating like smokes with them will guaranteed to drop echo (still affected by rates of 4/5 stars rates) but it will drop guaranteed.
I've been farming sun-sinking eclipse echo for approximately 5-6hrs for my Havoc rover, i just hate how long i farm and i don't get the any elemental havoc bonus from all those drops😂😂😂
I have a love and hate relationship with echo farming. Receiving a spectro dmg bonus on an aero set Heron is a nightmare. Then there comes the leveling of said very rare aero heron that will tune shitty substats. So far it is very enjoyable, and frustrating at times.
I always farm echo 2 hours/day while watching yt from my tablet,after i clear 2 element 3 cost echo i play other game.cause i just chilling my tower of adversities already have 18 crests with fully random echo tune,and wanted to build my 3rd team after 1.1 cause i dont think getting 21 crests with sol 5 is possible.already have someone gambling on a single team but only got 15 crests 😂.
This isn't right with the current patch... are you talking about a future update? It's quite easy to test that in fact many enemies can stillremain after the detection message pops. Also you areprobably wrong about the tracking feature,too. It seems that only a setamount of enemies are pre-selected and they will ALWAYS be the ones you track. Certain enemies will NEVER be tracked even if you stand right next to them and bring the track feature up for them. can check on the group of 3 roseshrooms just to the east of the giant banyan area should be easy to find them.
this game is super underwelming all things considered, once the honeymoon phase wears off. The only possible reason this event is worth doing is for double echo exp drops, and double tuners. I legitimately might stop looking at whatever echos the game gives me, it's just not worth my time. i'll do my dailies, spend my waveplates, but until the devs fix lag, bugs, and the god awful echo system, I won't be spending hours farming for this utter garbage.
i swear theres a bug tracking for some echoes, it says no detection found but actually they still have in map... most of echo have this issue... i burn everyday just to check all of them... the tracking system in game should be fixed anyway
weirdly enough I have encountered Echoes that are undetectable there's a Flautist near the Dreamless domain and 2 different Rock dudes locations (in a lake near the Monke boss and underground somewhere) and even if you position your characters right in front of these Echoes they will still be undetected
Idk why tf they won't make a simulation challenge for echo exp and tuners. I hate that im forced to farm tacet fields just to get echo exp and tuners. I have so many echoes, just lacking tuners and exp so i don't want more echoes
I have better method for farming multiple echo : Instead of using in game tracking where you can only track single target at a time then you have to repeat an area you already visit before for your second monster echo run, try using interactive map that show all TD location and highlights only mob you want to farm (in my case i farm for jiyan aero pieces and set the map to only show me monke, murder car and birb) After that in your browser install extension Picture in Picture for website that will enable you to float any tab in your browser. Float that interactive map you just setup before and voila you do all 3 monster in a single sweep in one go Edit : you can use your phone but it will be too small, if you have tablet or second monitor then i hope you get your dream echo
Is this a planned update or live? Because yesterday I killed hoochiefs until i got the message and then i went to kill monkey overlord, there was another hoochief at the entrance (same variant that i tracked to extinction)
I got most of my proper 3 cost echoes from the data bank gamba so I just kill the TDs I track and every pack that I come across while I'm at it to get fodders
Trhy should've just made the first 15echo guaranteed just like the boss, also tracking multiple elites or mob at a time should be a thing getting to one mob to another is like 80% of the grind
I love the game but the whole echo leveling/gearing system is cancer. I'm pretty sure we're gonna lose a lot of people to it once they get to the point of needing to farm and level them up.
Not worth it to farm 1 cost if you are limited on time or just don’t want to farm for hours. Farming 3 cost and just turning the crappy ones into new echoes got me so many 1 cost for every elemental stat that I am over stocked and will prob will never have enough materials to roll them.
I farm a full areo set with double crite and close to full double crite electro set except one cd roll on my flautist , already knows how painful the grind was 💀👀💀 Great video, really helpful 🙂
I went back to grinding on Diablo 4. Enjoying it a lot more than the daily echo grind. Just doing daily quests and spending stamina on the double tacet fields for now, and I got an electro purple heron today. Also got an electro flautist but it was a 4 star rarity…. Ugh lol
I find that it's more fun to me when I take it slow. I only do Tacet Fields too and only off the mobs I see while exploring. I hope they give us the option to convert unused echoes to leveling exp or something. They should just balance it with replayability and rng in mind.

I'm happy that DB 21 will lead to no 4* echo yet the 20% being the same is what it is rough, considering 3 cost have every main stat under the sun its tough to get a 3 cost that its ussable (single crit low roll) let alone a full max roll duo crit + attk/ER without farming for hours and hours
I'd say forget about farming cost 1 echos, you will get more of those while farming cost 3. Just hit one or two of them while farming the cost 3. You will run out upgrade material faster than you have cost 1 echos anyway. And not to mention that cursed tacet field drop cost 1 too, it's fking ridiculous when you only get cost 1s after spending 60 stamina.
When I recycled my purple echoes into golden echoes (the feature that lets you use 5 echoes and get a new one), I got a bunch of 3 cost on set dmg bonus, idk if it has an increased chance or if I got lucky. If you're doing farming for echoes, use your "trash" ones there and let us know your experience
ive been running around grinding echoes every day killing 100s of 1 cost 3 costs and 4 costs and i'm not burnt out yet, the game s genuinely really fun for me and i love grindy games so much. my main issue with genshin and star rail was that once you do dailies, use up your resins and explore the world and finished most quests you barely have anything to do. even though i haven't explored teyvat isn't fully 100% yet it's really tedious
I burnt out pretty quickly. All of the things mentioned, plus the material and shell costs are very limiting. Just gonna hang out till azur promilia comes out

i kinda dont understand the problem with the elemental damage echoes because tacet fields literally drop so many of them. I probably have 5-10 on-set elemental echoes for each set and element by now just by doing tacet fields
U got an A-rank luck account dude... I constantly farming Tacet Field to no avail. Once I got it, the substat rolled down the hill, it gave me flat DEF and HP... T_T
THAT IS NOT TRUE. I know this because i double checked the wolfs and others elite with interactive maps like two week ago. Yea there are someone that the game don't show but are really too few to even bother like 3 for the wolfs dreadmane. Even my run today didn't show then so they haven't fixed shit. Unless that fix was late today after i finish farming echos. I know the locations.. One in desrock highland left side of the map fighting a bear. Other one in central plain near the sea, fighting a bear. Other one in Central plain just in front of gorges of spirits, fighting a exile leader..
I believe that some of these mob events are 'scripted' to activate chests. For example, the one in the desorock highlands when killed triggers a bear and 3 boars to spawn. If the mob's death scripts the spawn of other mobs, I believe it doesn't show on the tracker.

Does this limitation only works for 3 costs? Cause i spend 4 hour to farm those raveturtles and im telling you those time i spend wasnt enough to wipe them off the map cause it was still tracking
