These are not pillars. Pillars support something. These 4 ugly upside carrots, are the balconies where the islamist jihadi climbs 5 times a day and starts yelling to the people bellow to stop urinating, and bend on the floor to smell their urine. Of course they destroyed all Christian churches. Hagia Sophia was too big to destroy it, plus it would serve better as mosque than ruins. And the jihadist didn't have the money to build another Hagia Sophia, so they kept it. Other smaller churches was similar converted to islamist brothels, or converted to night clubs, warehouses, stables, or supermarkets. Finally the name of the city is Constantinople. Not the one inside the brackets in your comment. Roman Empire when was pagan had one capital city, Rome. Emperor Constantine who's name translate to "steady", (why are you constantly late - why are constantly looking at me), converted to Christianity, and got baptized at York, England, translated the capital from Rome, to the new location and called it "New Rome", himself. After his death, to honor him, his successors named the Capital Constantinople. City of Constantine. City of strength continuity and stability. Through history of 1800 years the City had the same name from 300 to 1900. Even the holy toilet paper book of kouran names the City as Konstantiniye. Only in 1924 the city was named by what you wrote inside the brackets. So only for 99 years. Do not bow to islamist jihadists trying to erase History. Do not call it anything but Constantinople. The City of strength steadiness and continuity.

After the Turks took Constantinople and became the new ruler of the Eastern Roman Empire, some of the Roman people converted to Islam, some of them didn't. Most of the population of modern Turkey has originally Roman, Pontus Romans, Slavic and Armenian roots besides a little amount of Turkish roots. Constantinople wasn't conquered by Turks actually, it was only converted to Islam, they are the same people like they were before. That's tragic. I love my genetic background anyway. Hagia Sophia will prevail as we continue to care for her weather as orthodox or muslim Eastern Romans.

Christianity should be grateful about the open-minded and tolerant ottoman turkish Muslims, who instead of destroying sacral buildings like Christians did with every church temple they conquered, kept it and still use it as a worshipping place for the abrahamic god, to whom Jews and Christians also pray too. I also see it as an incredibly great historical achievement, when the ancestors are still crying after 500 years. Thanks to great emperor Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han ♥️💪 1453

Apparently you dont know what paganism is. Also, Christianity is a monotheistic religion. Its like you put words to other people's mouths. You as a muslim consider Christianity as polytheistic, but this doesnt mean that it is. That's because you deny the trinity being one God. But once Chistians believe in 1 trinitarian God its not categorized as polytheistic, but as monotheistic. Also, you shouldnt make the dumb argument to say that its better that it was conquered by muslims. It shouldnt be conquered by anyone. It should remain an Orthodox church.
