This is the song that too perfectly described the situation with my partner, in a good way. When we met she was in a loveless, sexless, emotionally neglectful and abusive relationship with her man. I was still heartbroken from a break-up of the best relationship I'd ever had two years before. We met and sparks flew. We both have a lot of issues but are high-functioning professional people at the same time. When we met we both said it was just a casual sex connection. Very quickly we saw how much we connect, how much we have in common, how compatible we are. As we got closer and deeper bonds formed between us I found this song. It perfectly describes the situation we were in then - we both knew we had amazing chemistry but we were both clinging to the past, to what was known, what was safe. We have savagely honest communication. She was attached to her idenity as the crazy, kickass woman who just did what she liked and didn't need a profound relationship with a man to be content and challenged. And she knew she was competing with the ghost of my former lover. I told her how much that relationship had meant to me, that I was still in love with her. She was crestfallen - she finally met a guy she likes and he's hung up on some woman who left him because he didn't want to get married. I know she looked at me thinking, "You'll never leave your lover". Lying in bed together, with the silent night outside, the whole city asleep, in each others arms, listening to music, enjoying each other, with a hint of melancholy, the sentiments in this song were perfectly evoked. We wanted to be together but we were afraid. We knew "we should leave our lovers and be with one another". But I was afraid to let go of my lover. It felt like a betrayal. And I was too afraid to accept the finality of the breakup, even though it had been two years before. I had moved on and dated other people, but I still longed for that connection, assuming it was irreplaceable. She was afraid of leaving the security of her dysfunctional relationship because it had become 'normal'. As we talked and talked and got to know each other and the inimacy increased we realised we could "share our secrets until they swallow one another". It was scary but we did it. She left her lover, and I left mine, so we could be with one another. It continues to get better and better, even when we struggle in our own lives, we support each other. This song is the perfect soundtrack to an early chapter in our adventure. I'm so glad it exists.

Just going through all of the songs in this channel, I was lost with all the songs in my own dream. just keep changing songs and after every song I listen, it just gets better and better. If in the future we/I have a choice the make a world I would make one. A world full of sheepy' songs. A never ending loop of wonderful songs.

I know maybe i'm the only one who hasn't been liking the recent uploads of MrSuicideSheep quite like the old times but this upload has been by far the best in past months. Brilliant upload! So chill and relaxing. Echos always does the magic.

I’m 26. Married to my boyfriend I met at 18 years old. When I was 21, I was working as a barista. Started catching the feels for one of my shift managers who I was friends with outside of work. We became really really good friends. The problem? He had gotten married a few months post me starting to work there. Other problem? I was in a serious, happy and healthy relationship. Was going to get engaged soon. For about 5 months I was properly screwed in the head. Sometimes I would listen to songs like this on the way back to my lonely apartment after doing a closing shift with this shift manager and honestly just cry. I felt so guilty and confused. It was the first time in my life I actually empathized with people who cheated on their partner. And before I get a mean reply to this, no I didn’t cheat on my boyfriend with this guy. My manager was married for Gods sake and I wasn’t about to be a home wrecker. But this man and I shared moments I literally have never shared with anyone. We had a huge connection and there was a lot of affection in my heart for him and a lot of sexual tension between us. I had several co workers ask me about it this tension, even though nothing ever happened. I have good reason to believe the feeling were mutual but neither of us acted on it. The closest it ever got to anything happen was two months after I got engaged I held a party at my new apartment with all my work buddies. We all played some truth or dare jenga and he was dared to kiss the person the left of him. And it was me. There was a moment that went by and I found myself wishing he would do it and kiss me. He was about to kiss my cheek when I told him to just kiss my hand, laughing off the dead silence of all our other co workers around us as they watched on. He kissed my hand and that was that. Later that night I had way too much to drink and my manager was leaving since he had to be up early the next morning. And my sorry drunk ass followed him out to his car and asked him to stay. I think I legit was near tears. A lot passed between us in that moment silently, and I think we just both knew the problem : timing. If he hadn’t been married, if I hadn’t been engaged. An alternate universe or something we might have been together. I still think about him on days I’m particularly emotional and sad and just wonder what might have been.
