Personally I'm sorry to all those religious I want you to know I respect you it's just I'm not like you and I don't know if I ever will be. So being in a very religious family isn't easy. And if you love your god then respect but it's like I don't feel like I have a a choice because being in a strict religious family it's like I'm constantly forced to pray and beg forgiveness so again I respect y'all but that just isn't me. 🥲

This song really hits hard for me, 5 years of an abusive realtionship, listening to this song on repeat, makes me see how strong i was at the end, to be able to leave him and begin my healing process properly, he was from a strict catholic family and the things he did were not right in so many ways, i'm happy to be out of that relationship now.

Same I’m in almost the same position cos I’m bisexual and I haven’t told anybody because I know how they feel about the whole thing and my entire family is catholic but I wish they sort of understood and would accept it and not be so stuck on religion as to think so negatively because maybe then I’d be more confident in telling them and idk feel less different and alone
