"Gratitude - appreciation, giving attention, acknowledging, the presence of another form, and feeling the goodness there... that is gratitude. So do not have to say thank you, but you can. Instead have an attitude of gratitude. Appreciating creates a receipting state of consciousness for good things to come to you, so New Age teachings are right in this aspect, but have to start now. May not be able to see it unless you become still first." - Eckhart Tolle
Appreciation towards this little home I get to be in, this peace and freedom, abundance of nature and time to do what I want. Appreciation for my body that function so well, this air I breathe. Appreciation for the loving thoughts that are passing by and for the mind being more and more quiet. Appreciation for the people in my life, the people I’ve met and get to meet. Appreciation for just this moment without any words or any description.
I am sincerely grateful for any Enlightenment that I can attain here & now. I am grateful for the practice of meditation, and for any way that it has benefited humanity, animals, plants, buddhas, angels, or diety/dieties in the course of it's existence. Thank you. I am grateful that I can relax.
Reminds me of something from a teacher of mine, Dr. Tim Weber, who taught me that "to be loved is to be known. And the denomination is of attention." We give attention to that which we "love," as well as to that which we appreciate. I am grateful for Eckhart Tolle. Thank you.
One of my favorite things to do even if I can't get outside and I can just look out a window and see the sky some trees cloudy raining snowing I don't care I just love to look outside. And if I can get outside even if it's only 10 minutes that just fills my soul
