"You have a mind" That's a Borrowed Idea "You have a body" That's a Borrowed Idea "You have a soul" That's a Borrowed Idea "You are Consciousness experiencing the chaos of human psychology." This is the only truth
Seclusive labels are hallmarks of the ego. Understanding the ego is helpful, understanding why is the next step. Why have an ego? Our biological vehicles are that of a prey animal, our natural state is fear. We are the only animals on the planet that experience self realization and is a heck of a lot to unpack. It drives 99% of the human population crazy to some degree (also a good way to understand forgiveness, you can't make it out of this world without a little crazy). Fear is the unknown and our natural state, to not be afraid we create social structures to follow as normal, which is what we identify with as known. There is a whole recipe we use to make what is known culture, ego, controlled environment, etc.
I am this, I am that (temporal, physical identity) believing, thinking being this and that; THE most challenging experiences in existence. Much love and compassion to all temporary, physical identities. Thank you Eckhart 🌎😘
By realizing you are not who you THINK and remember you are. Rather, you are the awareness, the essence, who can observe the identifying nature of the ego. Blessings! 💙💙💙💙💙💙
We have multiple egos. To break free, we have to start eliminating each one. Some egos are attached to our desires (so you want to fulfil your desires so you can burn the ego), other egos are anger, lust, greed etc. Just keep working in raising your consciousness and in time they will naturally dissolve. The more you become aware of universal truth, the more you will change habitual behaviours and patterns
The observer of our consciousness is the real experiencer where it has always been inside and outside and below and above everything else. It's omnipresent, so it's always outside everything looking in, and it's also inside everything looking out. Therefore, it never has to break free of the ego because it's already free of it.👁️👁️
Earth is like Kindy we learn here to share kindly, leave it as we found it eg don’t break it,and play pleasantly and without violence. Play nice in kindy children
The ego identifies only with the external world and its own sense of self within it. For it is the unconscious part of the human mind, and it is not really aware of anything else but itself. It's also very succeptable to external conditioning which can keep it trapped in its identifications with form and concepts. So this is why it is so important for us to awaken spiritually and rise above our egos into the essence of our spirits where our sense of self vanishes and our true sense of oneness is realized. Thanks Eckhart.
@@dockaren76In his own way... Infortunatly it's hard to explain how. But asking this question means that you are well on your way! 😊 It seems like an endless journey without a clear path. Untill you find yours. Give it time and effort. Keep up "questioning it all" and find the rest within yourself, you will get all the answers eventually. Don't give up! You can do it. 🎉❤
@@dockaren76 The guy who likes you is right, it's too complex to explain in a nutshell, but what I can tell you is, when I had first awoken, it was accompanied with an epiphany, and the epiphany was the realization of a higher truth and the understanding of my being in oneness. Even though all our individual journeys through life and the things that cause our awakenings are unique and different all our paths inevitably lead us back to the same place of oneness, and from that perspective onwards, our life becomes a much better experience. So the sooner we awaken individually, the better life will be for both the individual and the collective.
There is also I AM (non-physical Consciousness/Awareness, animating, manifesting every I am this, I am that (temporal, physical identity) and then there is something beyond Consciousness, something that enables all Consciousness, some call that the Absolute. What is beyond Consciousness? What enables Consciousness? Looking forward to explore that. Love and compassion to all physical animations, manifestations of non-physical Consciousness/Awareness. Thank you Eckhart 🌎😘
Why do they feel they NEED the most expensive clothes, cars and houses? They obviously don't truly NEED the most expensive clothes, cars and houses yet they feel they NEED these things to prove to themselves and others how important and special they really are. Just imagine how many hours they wouldn't have to work if only they were less conditioned to live and think as others have conditioned them to think and live 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@beatlebarb64 what notices these behaviors and questions their need is ego also, because it comes off as superior....."I've transcended the need for expensive cars, clothes & houses".... that's conditioning too, to see money or those having money and things as bad, insecure, etc. Being awakened doesn't mean having to live impoverished or denying self from everything, with gratitude and appreciation of life we are blessed beyond measure. Without need, expectation, and attachment; various forms of abundance flow easier to us because there's no resistance. Recognize that those you complain about are a mirror... you're complaining and noticing them is just a sign that there's more to let go of so we can better exude love. Recognize that they are wearing masks and feel the void same as we all have, faking it. Our light, acceptance, and non-judgmental presence will heal and help elevate their vibration way more and faster than judgmental disdain.

I have only ONE question, and no one seems to have the answer, but there HAS to be fractions of citizens/beings who hold this knowledge: My question is, Is there an end to the suffering on an individual basis?
In Hinduism, the great Ramana Maharishi who had a number of health issues was asked a similar question. His reply was there is suffering, but there is no pain. Meaning, he acknowledged what was happening to the body/ego, but the mind/consciousness was always in its natural, peaceful state as the observer. You may consider looking further into his great teachings 🙏 hope that helped
@pi1810 I believe that was Mahrishi's point. The suffering or dhuka will always be present. It's the one looking at the suffering who has a different POV, but it doesn't eliminate suffering.
Is possibly needing to know the answer to this and all other questions the actual cause and maintaining of suffering? What if we surrendered all opinions, beliefs and ideas and just accepted what is, is, and became comfortable with not knowing all the answers to all the questions or indeed any answers to any questions? 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I know I'm not the only one, but maintaining this conscience is very hard for me. I used to manage it somehow during my late 20's, I thought for a couple of years that I have understood it, but after some stuff happened I'm 5+years stuck i in a loop and even after practising silence and presence I can't feel the same joy/benefits like I used to before. Maybe some friend here can suggest something? Thank's
The key is to learn to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, daily…which counters the sympathetic nervous system activation (fight, flight…rumination). Yoga, meditation, nature walks (and avoidance of intense media, situations, if possible). In that more calm nervous system state, you have more ability to quiet the mind, zoom out, be a witness to all that is & not be so attached to meaning and outcomes. This is a core of peace.
@@Alphacentauri819 Thank's really for the input. I realize that I can't maintain present moment nor relax during desk work and commute. It is achievable for me once stationary at home during evening peace that I'm lucky to have. Anulom vilom pranayama can help sometimes in these already calm moments, but hardly in motion and intense mental focus. Any advice?
@danijeljovic2270 Can you focus on your breath at those times? Also try John Silva's Alpha brainwave tone that helps. Find a mantra to repeat in your mind when your automatic thoughts pop up. The fact that you recognize and realize it's happening indicates you're aware.
@@danijeljovic2270take breaks throughout the day. Focus on the spaces. When you feel blurred and dizzy, drop everything and go within. You are the calm, still center and without this awareness we cannot even do meaningful or productive work. -Because otherwise we are lost on the search for peace/wholeness (self), on a hamster wheel without end. Which Capitalism in particular mirrors/heightens, equating our identity to our jobs and our survival to our income, so that we can lose our way. -But you can always find it again, now. The more you anchor within and invite stillness/presence, the more you will return. (One tip for commute: take a few deep breaths when you close your car door, & before you get out of your car. While driving try closing your eyes at stop lights for a few seconds. I especially love when they beep:) And whether outer circumstances are temporarily accepted as they are and/or can begin to be changed so that you can joyfully adapt to society/circumstances that support you being your best Self-be as you are each step along the way. This will never change.❤
The definition of identity with objects starts with toys, sure, but also with clothing and the thing you sleep in. Have there been any experiments where clothing, beds and toys are fully shared among a group of children? Would they grow into people not hypnotised by the need for dominion over objects? Could such people cooperate sufficiently to save this world?
Only what is real is truly real and all that is genuinely real is totally unchanged by our own or anyone elses opinions, beliefs, thoughts, feelings and thinking. What is truly real? That which does not depend on our opinions, beliefs, thoughts, feelings and thinking for its existence 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Identifying with external objects, is one thing. But another facet, particularly when we get older, some of these external objects, become created, like an artist or craftsperson - so at what point, does an identifying creation, become an expression?
By realizing you are not who you THINK and remember you are. Rather, you are the awareness, the essence, who can observe the identifying nature of the ego. Blessings! 💙💙💙💙💙💙
All people speak of the ego as if they know what the heck it is, or why it’s defined as being separate from us. It was a term created by Freud and it just stuck. It’s used so much now days that ego is just a thought form expressed as just another word. You and I have to learn skills of a decent person and die better than you were born. I’m so sick of hearing “ego” and it’s nothing but another idea. Anything wrong with you? Oh well that’s just your ego. Move along please!
If you give a child love and make them feel secure and able to be absolutely who they are, they will be happy, perfect and free. If you condition them and make them adjust to this diseased society then you will destroy them. It's as simple and as stark as that. You discover that through understanding YOURSELF, not a bloated and dissolute thought leader like Eckhart Tolle.
You are right. This society destroys you since you are a child. The main issue is that they tell you you are a separate and individual entity, which you are not.
