As a 65 year old Mexican-American, Chicano, Hispanic, Latino, Latinx or whatever I will be called next growing up in segregated projects from 1956 to 1965 I have seen a lot of growth in our collective consciousness and have experienced and witnessed racism on too many levels to describe in a post. But I am optimistic and believe we are all beautiful. When I get attacked for my color of skin I still love them because they are beautiful humans beings who have been egoically conditioned. My love for them transcends their hate for me. Thank you Eckert.
Even showing children how to simply meditate, and sit in stillness (well, as still as a little one can manage 😛), especially with difficult feelings and emotions - and that it's ok to feel those emotions, too - would be so lovely and great. It would and does benefit little ones so much if you make room for that in their day. I found it helps littles to feel a lot more settled, and to process their feelings as they come instead of pushing them away or channeling then into something destructive.
EXACTLY! before having interaction with anyone outside of the family, we need to ensure children first know who they are as Awareness, Consciousness, “invisible presence”,or as Jesus called it “The light” of the world” Our planet is ready for this change!

@@stephaniestep1 An effective way to "fight back" is usually just leading by example. Once people see that you have a good life by not engaging in such things, there's a reasonable chance they'll copy you. There's no point in adding even more hate to society, we have enough of it already.

Just mentioning the war on drugs activates my pain body in a heavy way. This is what it says; "I feel so unsafe in my home. We have no power to move as a society to the right direction. These men keep getting stronger and stronger and with that justice is pushed away. My town/city/state/country is ruled by cartels and i dont want that to be the case any longer"

The illusion of separation. Rasism, the only ones judging or making an issue about skin color have slept in. It's like their alarms didn't go off for the great awakening. Everyone woke black white red yellow know that racism is political power play, and until we arrest the key players for these crimes, more will follow.
According to Eckhart, the ego is the attachment to ones conditioning ( thoughts and emotions ). So when the ego is dissolved, then the change of racial thoughts by conditioning in the past ( in the case of the video ), can be changed most effectively
When the ego is fully dissolved it does not matter if there are color barriers.. because people will not feel the need to control others. People will be free to associate with who they want and not associate with who they do not want to.. and that is okay.
Sometimes I notice "my ego" having racist thoughs and I feel guilty about it. But when awareness comes in they slowly go away, and prescence increases. Much love and appreciation.
I do too , recognizing that is beautiful cause we can replace the unwanted thought with one that is more beautiful and loving to other people. I take my kid to the skatepark and I made new friends with younger kids with descent from Africa and I feel good about that , I just look into the eyes knowing they are me , just being them .

Thank you for addressing this issue as this community typically wants us to “rise above” racism... Ultimately many of us are waking up and will work towards balance via living in harmony without selves, with nature, with other beings on this planet etc. this is a new age - a time of transition to become really conscious.
Thank you so much for this clarification! Wanting to help unify and contribute to peace but concerned about loosing myself in the “fight,” I’ve struggled to know what to do with my anger. Seeing how easily I can get caught up in debate....reacting, judging and attacking....(in the name of justice) I’ve learned to better recognize when I’m getting triggered; and more often than not, am now able to take a step back, observe the situation from a deeper perspective, and carry on with greater wisdom and compassion. In doing so, I’ve noticed the tone in those with whom I disagree is also transformed. The anger still comes at times, which has created some guilt, so Eckhart’s explanation about giving ourselves permission to feel it, and then allowing it to transmute into productive action, comports with my intuitive experience. We all have the wisdom within, but at times, lack the wisdom without to fully trust ourselves. Gratefully, we have access to guidance from someone as wise as Eckhart! This is a fascinating time in our evolution. I’ve never seen the contrast between ego and self so clearly - in me and in others. It’s gratifying (and fun) to witness first hand the practical benefit to ourselves and the world when we more fully understand who we truly are. “And all these things will be for your good,” is a concept I was taught as a kid. I think I’m finally getting it. Much gratitude!

I'm an ardent fan of Tolle. That's why it saddens me to see him having to take sides in a way with the existence of "institutional racism". It's completely natural for police to target people with the highest crime statistics. Taking responsibility for your actions and realizing your actions affect not only your life and the lives of victims, but also the image of whatever group you belong to, negatively, presupposes a certain awareness. I sensed Tolle is not completely speaking from stillness here, but partly from pressure to come on board.
Bob Bing It’s sad to me that people who listen to Tolle support institutional racism. Black folks are killed and abused by police officer sometimes for no reason because cops know that they won’t suffer consequences if their victim is black and are racist as fuck. White people who committed terrible crimes are often treated better by police then innocent black people so it’s not about consequence of your actions. Maybe try to listen to black people. I didn’t think that racism is such a big problem until I started listen to black RU-vidrs that I really appreciate.

It’s called spiritual egoism- the most dangerous kind. Until we each face our shadow motives there is no neutrality or sanity. Egos crave dominance (superiority) and suppression (power over “other”). Spiritual superiority, not facing what is as it is, and tuning out are side effects. In clarity one can face what arises with calmness and right action (thoughts, words & deeds) which arise through grounded Presence.

I still love you Eckhart! I felt I have lost most of my spiritual teachers that I was following before the turmoil created in 2020, but some of them still operate beautifully even when it feels their communication has been obstructed and certain wording became a must.
Ekchart Tolle, as this topic is so complex, one question arises in my mind. What about those who choose deliberately to be the victims when they think they are oppressed by “the others” or as they usually say “the system”? Racism is something real. It looks like in this present times,only white people can be racist and only black people can be victims, isn’t this another creation from the collective ego or some people? I was trapped by a Bully at work years ago. I was conscious but ended up Getting entangled in the Drama by the Bully!! Since I started watching these Videos i have learned so much. Thank you. I wonder what is your take on a movement that claims to fix racism and yet one cannot avoid seeing that it is really hate driven, and what is the ego role in that? Alan Watts once said: "nothing is more violent than a peace activist". He explained that the needy to fix things outside us rather than inside is dangerous, let alone being used by others. This also brings Lao Tzu's "the ideologist is someone who separates himself from the world he lives in". It would be great then to hear Eckhart, your opinion on the media's role that constantly telling the egoic level of the people- that they should be afraid and they should hate, and that there is racism all around- a statement that is so clearly an attempt to control their mind- and therefore they should act violently, and by that they will be "fixing the world".

Not going to watch this, because I'm tired of this topic. However, I hope Eckhart addresses the fact that we should not be making the mistake of basing our identity on our race. Our race should not be a source of pride nor guilt. I hope he mentions that the tendency to build narratives and *assume* that incidents have a racist basis when there isn't a shred of proof comes from the ego. I hope he addresses the fact that seeing yourself as a victim comes from the ego. I hope he addresses that being guilty because of your race comes from the ego. I hope he addresses that treating people of other races like they're rescue puppies or handicapped in an effort to assuage your guilt comes from the ego. I hope he addresses the fact that virtue signaling, silencing others, and perpetrating moral superiority comes from the ego. I hope he advises that all this talk about systemic racism and privilege is just a tactic that's being used to divide and concur us and that we should not feed into it.
Nailed. I'm tired of the Left trying to create narratives out of nothing just because they lost the 2016 election and want the power back even by using force and intimidation if necessary.
