Thank you E. T. 🙏 For me First there was the experience of profound bliss. It was the experience of life and love pouring out of my heart with every breath. Second there was the experience of Gods(energy) presence in everything. For me it was a completly breathtaking and overwelming experience of life and love everywhere in everything. Third, it was the experience of my soul. Total peace. No judgement. No thought, no feeling. Quiet. Just an observation of what is. An unconditional love. Pure essense.
No genuine knowledge or truths are ever learned by thinking, thinking merely leads us to come up with beliefs, opinions, ideas and fears. Genuine knowledge and truth can only ever come from personal observation, experience and not thinking 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Truth is utterly impersonal. What is seen with the eyes or heard with the ears is finite, limited and hence not reality. You as you know and experience yourself will never know or touch Truth. Only Truth beholds (knows) truth. There is no such thing as the Power of Now. There is Power that is Now, literally!
@@ferdinandalexander8053 there is conscious awareness of the living present moment, the rest is speculation, but some speculation lends itself to more awareness and some lends itself to less?
@@words4dyslexicon Words cannot meet the occasion but if one is going to write or speak of what is true, real, or valid one must start with what is. In other words, one must start with what is present, with what is being, with what exists. Indeed, this is what the word “is” means. No speculation. The one way life is would be the one that truly “is.” Consciousness is not conscious of the present but as the present.
All is one, there is not two. You know it already, you know it’s true. You can look and look but there’s nothing to find The truth’s just been hidden by the chatter of your mind. Oneness is here, now - not somewhere above Oneness is All, oneness is LOVE. See it and a smile in your heart will appear Your life filled with JOY and nothing to fear.
So profound yet so broadly perceptible to so many - few people listen to Eckhart and say 'too deep for me...' - his presence just EXISTS - or is it our presence vibrating with his? Can we enter Zen from there?
Ramana Maharshi said it's not about stopping thoughts, watching the breath, it's about fully merging with the True Self. This is done by inquiring "to whom do these thoughts arise?"
There is a lot of this that I even as a Christian can use to help my over thinking which is really anxiety something I should not have as a Christian but could not see that I had until Eckharts teaching But as a Christian I enjoy my own thoughts and should not get rid of the voice of the Holy Spirit
🙏✨We have this possibility to choose to be present, to get off that moving train which in the end leads nowhere except to madness and to that ever-present anxiety. 😰🤢 It is not even choosing because there isn't the effort and uncertainty of choosing. You decide and act simultaneously. ❤ You're not in there anymore. You are no longer complicit in aiding and abetting.😂 You no longer risk prison whatever it may be😂 It's wonderful, whatever happens, you're free. Even if sometimes you still stumble, it is not so painful, you scrape your knees a little bit . Above all you end up laughing. Long live freedom!❤ So grateful 💓🙏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨🌺

Did you know! The earliest description of the Buddha speaks of him as someone of slender build with a full head of tightly curled hair and a fairly expressionless face, it's amazing what 2500 years of word of mouth telling and retelling, writing and rewriting stories can do to someone's appearance 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@sawyerrice3244 Megan Bryson professor of religious studies University of Tennessee, I read an article by her yesterday which asked the question "Where did the image of the overweight, bald and smiling Buddha come from", interesting article which demonstrates how human history changes over the centuries as each person, institution, country adds a little of themselves and deletes a little of the previous generations story 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@cherieuk4488 it's a possibility of course, but given we humans have a very poor record on accuracy when relaying a message from one person to another let alone from hundreds of people to thousands of people to millions of people it's unlikely. We only have to look at todays social media to see a speeded up version of human behaviour 🙏🙏🙏🙏
what is the point of my being here? from Tolles message, what it is saying to me, "to be present, to be a conductor of presence.." to live in such a way that presence is welcomed, not put aside, a quote came to me today, "you can't skip the truth, or it will skip you." presence, honoring the present moment, is a truth i can feel, and a prerequisite to feeling peace?
If thoughts are following you round, like naughty monkeys, stop throwing them bananas! (Giving them your attention). One by one they'll slink away and you'll have peace
Encompassing a foundation of "truth" , embellishes a paradoxical dilemma defined by what is "sought" rather than what is "Perceived." The crux of an antecedent invokes "intrinsic value" , if and only if, the premise indoctrinates intellectual virtue. The "True Self" is a reflection of how the ontological presence of "meaning" is an innate infrastructure in correlation with God. When "Purpose" , "Truth", and "Causation" have tangible , substantive merit, one can disclose the fundamental aspect of epistemology through "A Posteriori" sequencing.
I'm glad you made this video, it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, honest wife, $75k biweekly and a good daughter full of love ❤️
Hello, how do you achieve such biweekly returns? As a single parent i haven't been able to get my own house due to financial struggles, but my faith in God remains strong.
I raised 75k and Christina Ann Tucker is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!
I can't, have been trying for about 4 years. I meditate at least 30 min a day, usually more than one 30 min session and my mind races the entire time. I think I may be broken, maybe bad karma.
@@darkcylander yes, then my next thought comes, the another, and another, totally random thoughts, unrelated to each other or anything going on in my life currently.
Yes, thoughts just arise, and I've never heard any spiritual teacher suggest that we can stop them. In my opinion, this wasn't Eckhart's strongest talk. I've found it helpful to reside in the gaps between thoughts, and not to follow them. Just notice what arises, without attachment or judgment. Thinking happens...because we're human and have language. Imagine the awareness of an infant, before it learns how to speak. Just awareness. That's our true self. 😊
Thinking, at the end of the day, happens automatically. One cannot stop thinking, as this is resistance to normal cognition, and resisting what is. Rather, learn to enjoy thinking, and be aware and be selective of what thoughts to give attention to. “Stop Thinking” is an absurdity, and anyone foolish enough to believe stopping thinking has anything to do with spirituality is mistaken. It is your REACTION to thinking (you cannot stop it) that determines spiritual progress/mastery.
Tolle has said " i don't have to think if i don't want to.." I take him at his word becuz I have had glimpses of being so enveloped in conscious awareness that thinking/ thoughts fell away, but that was either a spontaneous state or via meditation, I truly believe Tolle has access to "awareness without thinking" effortlessly.
Another, great master says to let thoughts come but not to identify with or engage with them. Rather, one is to remain as the witness, the observer 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼
Yes, once they are no longer urgent, once there is healthy detachment, it isn't about suppressing anything and the stop technique doesn't work too well, so it is about knowing one doesn't have to move with a thought in some sense, stop thinking but only by allowing thought..
About the bliss and its "fading". As far as I understand this "zen bliss" is mostly connected with the absence of material possessions and also material fame. The seeker mostly leaves the practical world for some form of seclusion. Could it be that the original bliss is not compatible with what you are doing now, as useful for the audience it might be?
2:15 Consciousness has to be rescued from thoughts. Make present moment awareness your central goal in life. When you are active, give doing full attention. Honour what you do. Honour the present moment. Honour life. Zen is doing one thing at a time. 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯 9:11 Present moment awareness isn’t so much about being aware of the surrounding, but aware of yourself. Therefore whether the surrounding is boring is irrelevant. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 It isn’t about who you are, but that you are, the being. Thanks Eckhart. 7 October 2025. 👍🏻🥳🌜💗🤠🎯🎯🍊💐🍊🍊🌺💫💝🐎🐝

I stopped thinking once... and almost became a Christian. I vowed to avoid ever letting it happen again... even if it gets me a 3 year high that only fades when I build up a tolerance to the self imposed and self deceptive high. Go through and demand a specific definition for ever word this person says. There is a lot of feel good fancy ideas wrapped up in verbiage that breaks down in to absolutely nothing special. "Honor the present moment" "The work asked of you is soul destroying because it is unpleasant. " "Youre surrounded by people in negative states." "Only you know if you can do that or if you need to remove your self and do something that is more compatible with presence.." Seriously....define this for me in a way that isnt wrapped around selling a book. Life is hard. Making choices is scary. Finding out you made a less than perfect choice is tough to face. This guy is literally effing talking about choosing a window seat or aisle on an airplane. "If its not particularly interesting like if youre trapped on a bus or airplane...and then you need to focus on the fact that you are." If you need a near 15m video to point out to you that friking exist AND that you should spend your down time thinking about how to make good choices...well I dont even know how to relate to you as a member of the same species. If you dont have the capacity to go this "deep" on your own then I truly dont even want to participate in what ever society you contribute to building. This is....sincerely...2nd grade stuff. You can take this hard truth as an insult and dislike me for saying it outloud, or you can sit down and try to catch up.

WE HAVE LIVES THAT NEED ATTENTION. wE HAVE PROBLEMS TO FIX. yOU HAVE TO think TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do appreciate where you're coming from. Can I suggest that you may have listened/watched this for a reason - perhaps the reason being that you've been searching - perhaps for a long time. Maybe to know stillness, peace and another way to be? Other than to be at the mercy of the dominant mind and the continuous chatter of thought. Keep searching and perhaps E. Tolle will be part of the answer. Peace be with you...more and more😌
I've been following Eckhart for 17 years. I commented because it popped up in my RU-vid feed. And just realized how divorced Eckhart is with the real world. But hey if it works for you that's great. Eckhart saying that thinking is bad is really unhealthy. Unless you're some Guru that can sit around all day long meditating this does not work only in small bursts. But he does not teach that. He teaches to stay in the present moment throughout the day all day long as much as you can. This does not work. Not for people who have jobs and have kids and have to take care of things. Not everyone can sit around on a park bench contemplating the issues in the world like he does
It's obvious that you haven't understood what Eckhart says. You probably haven't heard any of his talks or read his books. It's not about "never thinking". You obviously have to live your life, work, socialise, confront worldly problems like everybody. His point is to go about it without getting wholly dragged into it. To be an observer of your thoughts and actions. His way of expressing this is when he says "to be present". No drama, no excessive unnecessary thinking.
