These are very cute and I am so impressed with your having put a similar spine to the original books on them. That looks so nice. I find these little golden books to be a great inspiration. I make journals, and have never sold them, but I would find it extremely satisfying to make one for me and one to sell. I like how you used the pages. Beautiful work and thank you for your generosity in sharing.

Great spines and the front opening page has that “ oooh, very pretty” effect. The Golden book colouring in the illustrations are definitely very distinctive.

Beautiful Johanna, all so amazing and I adore each and every one. I put Busy Timmy in my cart immediately they were listed because that was our son Timothy's favourite :) The New Baby was a close second! Silly phone too slow. I love the way you recreated the original spines, brilliant! I had just left our twice yearly Lifeline Bookfair when I checked your Instagram page so was already in a Little Golden Book mood after buying some vintage treasures there. Eloise Wilkin illustrations are wonderful. Must go though all your videos and tutorials again and try making a journal myself while I'm on leave. It's such a treat to see the flip throughs, thankyou for sharing and taking the time to do them. I'll be watching over and over again

Your journals are lovely! I love Eloise Wilkins, too. I am 71 years old and I remember that I had several Golden Books of her illustrations, as a child. When we moved from Ohio to California, the books didn't come with us. So, when I had my daughter, I started collecting as many GB's that she illustrated. I still have them, packed up. Maybe I will get the box down, and take a trip down memory lane. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!

These are so cute! I am definitely going to try for one. Good thing I'm a night owl. Your idea of working on one custom journal at a time is really good. As someone with three kids who doesn't have a lot of time, you can just work on it whenever you have a free moment till you get done. People will have to be patient.

Beautiful books, Johanna. I collect Wilkins Golden Books and always buy them whether I already have a title or not so I can use one or more for journalling and keep a copy. A pity the binding hides a lot of the titles though, can't say I like that but I guess no way around it?

Can I ask the size of your spine and about how many papers you use for each signature? I am making my first junk journal out of a Christmas little golden book to memory keep for my 2 year old son throughout the holidays! And I just love the size of you books and how your signatures lay! And also, I am wondering what you use to seal the covers. Thank you! These are just gorgeous, Johanna!

I love these! I was thinking of opening an etsy shop.I am curious as to why you are looking at other platforms to sell your journals?

Melissa Test etsy is raising their fees a little beyond what’s reasonable. They are going to increase their fees from 3.5% to 5% and then they are going to add a 5% fee to shipping expenses. Which means we would have to charge our customers more to cover the costs!

I like the idea and I really like the way you arrange the inside of the journals except I do not really like the charms ... I felt the strings are too long and looks messy to me ...that is just for me but everything else I like ....especially the kitty books ....

Young lady, look at you. You have been a very busy girl. Oh my stars! I love them all! Im trying to stay awake so i can purchase one. Itll be 2 a.m. here in illinois usa. Im torn between new baby and wiggles because i love the new baby...i remember it from childhood. Wiggles...my son loves the Wiggles tho not the same! Lol (the original wiggles). I digress. They are all so wonderful. I hope you do decide to take a custom order here n there because I would love to have one made. I say it all the time...you are so very talented. I love the spines on these. Excellent work! 😁

I hope some day I can own one of these amazing journals but I’m to broke lolbeing a mum you don’t really get to buy anything for yourself lol Kinda random but where did you get the old school Winnie the Pooh post card? I think it was around 955 in the prayer for children journal. I absolutely adore Winnie the Pooh and that was the theme for my daughters first birthday party last month and it’s so hard to find the classic looking Pooh bear

Johanna Clough omg that would mean the world to me! I feel kinda creepy saying this but you inspire me so much. I’ve always journaled but you introduced me to junk journaling. The past year had been so hard and I really credit junk journaling and being creative with pulling me out of my depression. I would really be honored to have something from you to put in my journal. I would also love to send you some stuff. It would be so cool knowing I gave you something that made its way into your journals. I really look up and admire you so much. Your a mom who made your dreams a reality. I would love to be able to turn making and creating things into my job! I’m kinda rambling now lol but I really would be so great full to have something from you. Thank you for taking the time to even just read this and reply. You seam like such a sweet person lol I wish we could be friends and journal together haha. I've got a question that's going to be random kinda. How do you decide which journal to write in about stories for your kids. I find myself wanting to record some things in all 4 of our journals but by the time I've done 2 my "vibe" is gone and I'd like to move on. Do you ever have the same issue? If so, how do you pick? Do you suck it up and do something small for all 4? Like I said, kinda random question. I was just thinking of how I'd probably end up using one like this series for a "for all 3 of you" book and that way it'd be mine for now and all of there's to see one day. I don't know. Love this series though, super nostalgic and beautiful. Thanks for sharing and inspiring 💚

These turned out so well! I love em! Is there a way to hear you better? You're very soft spoken, as am I and me mum constantly says "what?" to me lol. I just have a bit of trouble hearing you. dolcezzeEmagia hello! I sell internationally however the books tend to go fast! That is why I set a date and time to release and announce in advance 😊
