Sad as it is... I probably saw this show live over 100 times throughout my childhood. I literally dreamed that one day I would be a dancer in it and still to this day I listen to the soundtrack and know the choreography
Best of the Best! I haven't seen anything better since 2002. Really miss the opportunity to be able to watch the show the video doesn't do it justice. Amanda Thompson you done a great job, thank you!
i saw this not long before the last show at blackpool and i loved it so much i bought the dvd and my youngest daughter would play it over and over i never got chance to see it lol i loved it and was so sad when it ended as i couldnt take my youngest to see it live sad really as it was and is a great show
I saw it on the last day of the season the final year when Vladimir wasn't in it as he injured himself. He came on at the end fully clothed and we all did a stood up to clap.
In memory of Sergey she really should release this onto dvd. But did anyone see the nod to the nutcracker? As well as the nod to swan lake in various parts of this?
I know this was posted 7 years ago, but just how old is that Vladimir Kekhaial? We saw this show twenty-five years ago and he was old then. He's obviously another of Amana's pets.
its sad its not that a great copy but that said at least others get to see it as u cant now but at least we can with this thanks for the upload brings back so many good memories of the show
OMG, I was told this was never released for sale, So happy to see this again, I would love a copy of this on DVD, do you know where I could purchase one from ? many thanks for posting it :)
Sure! It's easy to get it: just £9 from the official 'Pleasure Beach' online shop. Here's the link: www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/product/eclipse-2005/ although I'm sure you've probably already found it yourself by now! 'Eclipse' was magical- it's part of one of my most exciting childhood trip memories! :D
Thanks for the link, I have that 2005 DVD but this is an earlier version with completely different choreography, a slightly different score (2 music tracks) and several different dancers although it’s generally the same show the later version I have was also filmed on a closed stage with no audience and Stageworks got very “arty” with their camera angles and effects, I need to find a copy of this version to compliment my later version !
Ah, I see. Sorry- I didn't know the difference. I didn't know they filmed two different versions. I was under the impression it was just filmed once. You're obviously a very big fan and know all about it. :)
I was just lucky to see the show many, many times live over the years, there were subtle changes every season, basically the show is the same, I’m just being picky !
Hi everyone. Here is a link to the Dick and Dom BBC episode, where they train to join the show: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aN8co5G7FDw.htmlsi=G2FG0yY4fwB59FUH
