Oh my god this was so good, so sorry I missed the premiere 😅 This felt so much different from your other originals, (In a good way) I loved this song, the guitar Melodies are so good This was a really good original, amazing job on this :D
The beginning to this is really nice, giving off the theme of something off putting and with a sense of finality, having those iconic Blazing Woosh's and warbles too to really put your mark on it. At 1:00 those little beep-boops almost feel like a ticking clock, mixing in with that guitar? This has some really good final boss dungeon vibes. That's a hard balance to make, I think, because final bosses usually have to be so much more intense in one way or the other, but this one has that uncertainty in there with the haunting whistles, and then intense with the guitar. It really has the "Approaching the end" rather than "This is the end" vibe. At least until the fucking drop at 2:48. The added percussion alone puts those goosebumps into you. I can almost feel like that drop is where you enter a pitch black room, and the candles light up one by one until finally they light up all at once, surrounding the room and lighting it only enough to see the final bosses silhouette before he steps off the throne, and the battle begins.
I really like the fact that you said it reminded you of a final boss fight because when I was making this I was thinking of a boss fight kind of theme! For a long time I have gotten plenty of comments about how my music kept sounding the same even if it was a different song. That's gave me the push to step out of my comfort zone and to do something different for once. My dream is to become a videogame composer and I am currently in college trying to get a 4 year degree in Arts with a major in Music Technology. So I basically use my youtube channel to practice my skills, which is why you see me doing a lot of different instrumental styles since that's what I focus most on. I appreciate all of your well thought out comments on my videos, It means a lot more to me then you know :]
