A group of thousands from all over the globe gathered at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas to watch in awe as the moon fully obscured the sun in a moment of totality during Monday’s solar eclipse. Belen De Leon reports for the NBC4 News on April 8, 2024.

Great Report. I loved what Trixi had to say. In all of the coverage across the country that I have watched, the joy of coming together with others that you do not know and sharing a rare and unique experience seems to make the experience better for everyone.

Did anyone report on the effects of the eclipse that warranted a state of emergency? Did they run out of fuel, food, water? Need batteries? Etc. etc.? Don’t think so.
