I just finished my first bag and I love it! Mine came out smaller, both in the bag itself and the strap, even with adding twelve rows to the strap length. I do have a tendency to have tighter stitches. Still, I had a lot of fun making this, thank you for a great pattern and CAL!

Very cute!! I need a tote bag, maybe I can make a matching pair, a bag and tote!! I haven’t made a purse since I got on a sweater/cardigan kick two+ years ago! Alas... so much to crochet and so little time!! Have you done a yarn reviiew/comparison on the types of recycled yarns out there? I know that Drops Paris (I think) has a few colors. I think Lion Brand re-up might be a recycled yarn, too. I’m sure I’ve seen others. I know I’m hesitant to use them cause I think the cotton might be scratchy instead of soft. It’s just a thought. I don’t believe I’ve seen anyone do a review on them. Thanks!! Ooh I love the bluish silver! How pretty!! You go up or down with the hook size accordingly if you want it the same size. For example if you use a DK yarn, use a size larger hook to keep it the same size. If you use. #5 yarn, go down a hook size. It might be tricky depending how thick the yarn size is, but one size smaller shouldn’t be too bad.

I hope you get to make a tote soon! I haven't done a review on the Drops yarn yet, but I do have a few on the Hemp yarn and more eco friendly yarn. I can add those to my list though!
