What would your ideal community look like?

I would love to build something like an earthship and be in a community like that. I am counting down until I have enough money to relocate and retire. 5 years to go...

Hi, I just discovered you, but I already knew punta mona for years following them on RU-vid. I would really like to come and live there, unfortunately I have a big problem, the language, I'm using a translator because I'm Italian and know little English. Do you think it is feasible to come and live there without knowing the language? What are the procedures to access this wonderful village? Thanks for the replies

I dont think you guys could have chosen a more awesome place to live! Just curious, was that humming in the background crickets the whole time? Do you hear that sound daily? It seems like it can be either relaxing or annoying lol

Is very beautiful living in community but in the same time many challenges and questions. First think for someones who live in the other continent is so far away to get in Costa Rica. I'm living in Europe. The second think someone who don't love yoga how can living in the place like this if you can't express yourself in the way you feel and you want?

The area is pretty and seems cool but makes me wonder is the “ community” just normal people living their own lives and happen to live in a community type place and everyone’s making their own decisions to live how they want or is this more like some type of cultic atmosphere with certain people in power and specific rules / weirdos, etc and their under that umbrella in the “ community “ .. idk just saying.. lol.. hope it’s the their just regular people.
