just a heads up for anyone with a newer revision of this model with the 60 x 60 x 15 fan. it seems to be a server grade fan with RD rotation fault detect functionality so a normal fan cant be dropped in unfortunately. infact sorry. mine is the river 2 pro model.
Thanks for this. I'm ordering the fan and cables from your links and will be doing this mod. The fan is unpredictable when it comes on and yes so agreed it's loud af and annoying when trying to work in a quiet setting lol
I don’t understand the stupidity of the manufacturer of the charging station, who installs this loud fan with the stubbornness of a drunk. Not only is this fan loud, but also the gaps in the housing are small, which add to the volume when the air is decelerated.
Thanks for the video! Considering buying the Delta Pro, but same issue, very noisy. I was wondering exactly this, to use Noctua fans, but was things on using the Redux version for extra quietness.
Hi, no its only active when recharging or under high pressure. I am just charging my laptop with it and the fan rarely turn on. It turns on immediately when recharging it via a power outlet.
There is an annoying quirk currently where the fan does stay on constantly even after high load if the output is over about 50w. Dropping the load to 40w or restarting it will then stop the fan.
answer is less then original. original is M-fan bedek engineering 60*60*20 type: DA06020B12UR. airflow 39,9 m3/h =23,2 cfm. 12 V working between 7*13,8 V with 0,25 A = 3wat max. but 5000RPM and 34 DB noise. Noctua 60*60x25 29,20m3/h=17.2 cfm. noice 19,3 db 0,12 A 3000rpm max
i wish ecoflow product team could put inside fan with 80*80 dimension, because then you can get more air flow and more options to change of fans. Cheap ARCTIC F8 Black for 5 euros can give you 3000 rpm 22.5 db and 31cfm=52,67 m3/h
