Thanks for the honest video. The American Ulises Solis installed a grease nipple on all engine plates (drill a hole, cut a thread and screw in the grease nipple with Locktide). This allows him to add grease again and again using the grease gun. The Dutchman Maarten de Smet did it even better: He not only added the grease nipple like Ulises, but also added a drain hole (with a screw to close it). When he wants to change the grease, he jacks up the board, switches to cruise control so that it is constantly moving (slowly) and pumps the new grease in until fresh grease escapes from the outlet hole. Yes, I should do that too - because it just makes sense. Better than always taking everything apart.

Great review, I've been riding the ET (the first one) for some time already and it's still great. Good to hear that the motors are not sensorless anymore, it is the biggest downside of the original ET. I have never had any major issue except the worn out brass inserts in the planetary gear. This happened in both of my ETs after 3 months from the purchase. I believe It was the most annoying issue of all ETs when they first came out. When I replaced them with bearings everything is alright. Another issue was that one of my board's lights stayed on. So I had to cut them. But both of these issues were immediately solved by the customer care, I received new parts and a tutorial to fix it. I must emphasize the tip with the bearing puller mentioned in the video because smashing the motor with the hammer was a pure pain. 🙂
