Why don't they listen to this guy in Africa? This guy is one of the wisest on the continent, but cannot do much just by himself alone. Africa need to unite around men like this man.
I’m South African and ashamed because of xenophobia. At the same breath I acknowledge it but we cannot be painted with the same brush because we worked and still do to stop xenophobia. In SA the voice is growing louder we want the land and our resources we will and need assistance of Zim. I believe Zim will be powerful again and I want to invest.
Africa needs Africa, I used to work for a german entreprenuernin Joburg, when she cane to SA she always said its amazing how black people I cleaning , tendering gardens, waiting tables basically serving in their own land she said it condescending and in the end she concluded that black people cannot think or initiate they only need orders to be followed by white people, I lashed out and banged the table but then when I started to think I felt she was right, everywhere in SA and much of the world blacks are serving, we need true power not breadcrumbs and we should be shocked that we are servants in our own land
@@kaie7308 This is a wonderful engagement to be honest!!! In my own personal capacity that’s why I’m aggressive in my side hustle approach. I cannot work for anyone and continue working. Government worker. Honestly out of varsity did not plan to work for someone but as you know we don’t necessarily have wealth to inherit. We starting from scratch because our parents didn’t put anything away for us. Anyway that’s spilled milk. I am putting structures to support those behind me. I have experience in customer service and education should you need a different opinion or advice, you may contact me. At the same breath, that German person must not portray themselves as holy. We in predicament because of their own doing. 1000 years of mental bound - age is not a joke. I trust we slowly becoming mentally liberated. iYeza iAfrika!!!
@@iloveafrica222 True all Africans our generation are working backward to support siblings parents even grandparents, but our parents had it harder, they were just trying to survive, things have to change, I am actually working on something on the education spectrum, that I think could help learners and create value for teachers and even a good business model, looking to launch in Zim but will need to consult on the education and marketing side, I will definitely be connecting with you once some of the groundwork is complete!!
@@kaie7308 Awesome. Well done on starting👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿. You know that saying in entrepreneurship some businesses failed because they never started. Wishing you all the best and resilience sprinkled with love. You know were to find me when you ready of course!!!
These guys are letting out the cat....whatever that means. I tell you the debate is loaded. Only those that have been paid by America and UK denies the existence and the negative effects of sanctions on the CITIZENS of Zimbabwe.
What enlightened debate are u talking about. These 2 scumbags are zanupf sympathizers both of them expelled from rsa full of vitriol and bile. Zanupf has given them a lifeline and are doing pr for the devil. No matter how much these scoundrels try to sanitize the devil the devil will remain such until amen.
This guys sent by our ancestors to speak to us,especially South Africans. We are mistreating our fellow Zimbos, calling them names but I believe that is doing by people who do not know that we got this slice of freedom bcs Zimbabwe sacrificed their well being.
We are Human Beings but, when Being is taken away from you..... You you are left with Human, you become logical, mind only goes as far..... You cannot take away the Being from a person without you understanding the Being part of Human. Without Being you're as good as dead. We've become comfortable as Humans minus Beings, the great Spirit...... That's the only problem..... we have an ocean of knowledge but we lost Being.... We have faith but we lost Being real.... Yet we think faith is enough... Hope isn't enough either..... If u know u know
I suggest to the participants of this presentation to read some of the many books by "Thomas Sowell", the Afro American professor, and then review their thoughts. As I have pointed out on other presentations, peasant agriculture limits production, and can hardly sustain Urban development. I wish Africa all the best, having become an adult in Tanganyika and met President Nyerere; he was an example to all for his integrity.
What do you call peasants agriculture? Do you mean small holder farmers? I disagree with you. These are the people who are feeding billions in the world.
Thomas Sowell for all of his intelligence and insights is a fine example of an apologist for the colonialists. He has never taken much of the post slavery traumatic disorder of the Afrikan American into consideration, he doesn't advocate for reparations or the restoring of what was lost before we can begin to move forward. He as a token black man and a gate keeper of his master's system that was allowed to thrive tries to exemplify that there is no systemic assault on people of African extraction. He is well celebrated by white Americans for all of the obvious reasons..I am not saying that even a broken clock does nottell the correct time at least two times per day..
@@ArchStandford I understand your reaction, however I wish to go back to the start. Slaves were captured by people of Africa and then sold them instead of killing them, as recorded by missionaries that convinced the winners of selling them instead. These victims therefore had a chance of survival, instead of being eliminated. They were sold, as any merchandise, to those that could afford the price. I will not go into the merits or other views of this practice, as enough has already been written on it. So the descendents of these slaves, which I suppose you are one of them, should reconsider WHAT if "their ancestors had been killed instead". For me, colour of the skin is not a parameter by which I judge any person, having grown up in East Africa and had friends of all the different ethnic groups. The past cannot be undone, so let us look forward, rather earning and not demanding the respect of others.
My question now is, yes we'll done Mr president for promoting local business and Zimbabwean people empowerment, now, where are the minerals being processed, are we selling gold in blocks or we have company producing final products, value addition. I think this is a key factor of economic empowerment and development.
It is indeed a shame to see fellow Zimbabweans publicizing fallacies on platforms like these in order to discourage supporters of opposition parties and attract them back to a failed party,ZANU PF.Rutendo's points with regards to the issue of Sanctions are quite peripheral, why not recognizing the corruption, mismanagement and misgovernance just close by.
This is clearly to me as a Zimbabwean. Opposition of Zimbabwe is a tool used by Britain and America to gain power in Zimbabwe. Opposition in Zimbabwe must be clear with the land issue. This means even if the opposition win the election in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe will remain under Sunctions till it agrees to return the land to white people. The Zimbabwe problem is not ZANU PF but The land issue is the all problem of where Zimbabwe is today. Opposition in Zimbabwe must be clear about land issue because as a Zimbabwean people we will never return our land to the Europeans never that shall happen
With corrupt leaders that's just dream. Wait until Zim and South Africa fall to the lowest levels such as Somalia. Corruption is an enemy of growth n development
This is B*S. when we got our independence MDC was not there but ZAPU as the opposition. Instead of empowering and developing Zimbabwe attention was turned into the opposition and people were butchered for supporting ZAPU. Other political parties that came up before MDC were labelled enemies of the state and were dealt with violently. Now the MDC>>CCC is labelled enemy of the state and blamed for ZANU’s failure. Strive Masiyiwa an indigenous man struggled to set his company up, being denied by the very same ZANU government. How many people have and still are struggling to set business in Zimbabwe because they are ZANU loyalists?? Deal with the corruption situation in ZANU and the country will prosper not these stupid political excuses.

@Takudzwa Dflex I think if you post the same msg in English on all of Rutendo's videos on RU-vid you could get enough publicity to shame him into paying you back
Sanctions are not a permanent unchanging discipline, Zanu PF must follow the constitution on for them to be displaced... but they dont want to follow suit.
"There are black business people who have been assisted by the government and have taken out money out of the country and the question is why?" . In south Africa he's talking about Patrice Motsepe and others.
What these guys fail to understand is that corruption is one of the main reasons why Zim is in a mess, you can't blame sanctions on simple issues like pack of supplies in Hospitals where as the government have money to buy MPs laxury cars
I was born in 1995 and what l have seen with my own eyes l second you on this one corruption in zimbabwe is on another level despite sanctions that zanu pf is a coffin magnet
Zimbabwean revolutionaries freed the county and deserve to be saluted on this fundamental thing. Yes Zimbabwe has been destroyed by the western economic hitmen ( esap). Yes zimbabwe has also been destroyed by a bankrupt ideology of communism which is a horrible system that does not work. For Zimbabwe to work the Army should be far from politics. For Zimbabwe to work Zimbabweans need to change the blame game mindest that waste time. For Zimbabwe to work we need think tanks like those 2 being interviewed. For Zimbabwe to work the past of blaming colonisers is a waste of time. Singapore is now richer than the Colonial brittish. Capitalism works whether we like america or not. Here is WHY Look at the Capitalist countries if that system do not work why are they ricj countries. Communist countries suffer look at them Cuba poor communist Easten europe poor African communist countries poor.
What do you say about looting? Henrietta Rushaywa was caught smuggling bricks of gold straight from Fidelity Printers, out of the country, but sadly like many other corrupt activities of Mnangagwa's relatives, the matter has been thrown out of the court.
Rutendo and Maphonga. Obviously my 2 main guys. Your one of my few wisely and intelligently wired African blacks. Are know there are others out there, many I believe but are brain wash. But I think you guys can assist by establishing a structure. There'll be a money problems here but please guys use you influence and seek funding from all African government's. While you are at it, please also design some curriculum that will be taught at school about our true history that will at least strive towards çombining it into one. PAP and AU are run bye run by some bright minds not all of them of course, but are forever engaged in useless prolonged debates because they are being infiltrated by the west underground agencies to continually and forever distabalize them in order to continue the economic exploitation of Africa, exploiting therefore..
Don't call me Mr. Almost ¾ of the show he is speaking English. He was such an Obstruction and Interaption of the Discussion it was a bad idea to give him a seat on this platform with the Likes of Rutendo M.the man is full of confusion nothing can be noted on what he is about.
These two gentleman re advocating for sanctions in zimbabwe to be removed yes bot to be honest there are also not coming out and hold the government of zimbabwe n ts leaders to account if we only point fingers at sanctions not look at both ends of the coin rather than just point at sanctions according to me zimbabweans re good in talking rather than actions look wat Qatar is doing
These guys are failing to acknowledge that mismanagement of resources, looting and human right issues are having a very negative strong hold on Zimbabwe which is a result of how this current government are operating and not just sanctions. Fix those issues first then the world can take us seriously and support us with the fight to remove sanctions..... This is the same issue across all African nations including ones that are not sanctioned - CORRUPTION & MISMANAGEMENT
I would encourage you to read more of African History and the documents that were signed for the independence of these African countries that you say are corrupt and mismanaged.
@@imushomutonga1621 Ofcourse there’s elements of colonisation that are holding Zimbabwe and a lot of the African countries back but it still doesn’t take away that a high percentage of these presidents do not respect their citizens, they lack innovation and are they are just plain evil aka corrupt and lack management skills.
@@missmoyo6310 If you had bothered to read the history of Africa you would have come to the conclusion that the colonialist never left Africa. Please read a bit more about Africa and with a mind of wanting to understand why the entire continent has failed to work.
@@missmoyo6310 The moment you realize that whites in Africa are struggling so hard to be identified and defined as Africans while black in Europe are defined as African Europeans then you will understand more about sanctions on Zim why they are here. The main purpose of the executive orders is to cripple the economy to such an extend that the ordinary citizen would loose confidence in their government and rise against it. And looking at your sentiments it looks like they have achieved it. Local banks have lost more than 12bilion USD between 2009 and 2020 in fines for supporting gvt institutions and processing international transaction for local companies. Yes corruption is hurting but sanctions are killing us
@@imushomutonga1621 Mate it’s pretty obvious that white man has a strong hold on Africa I’ve not denied that but at the end of the day the way African leaders & their government departments carry themselves and treat their people is very disgraceful. An example is the amount of times police act corrupt throughout Africa wanting bribes, its so ridiculous even in countries like South Africa where they get a decent pay. I wonder why you’re failing to also acknowledge corruption also plays a big role
Sanctions are there because of leaders who oppress their own people L Jongwe and Dzamara were killed Mugabe . African leaders are no good at all. Sanctions were there during Smith but people were not suffering the way they suffering now. Rutendo MUST shut up.
Mmm tapesana pakuisa blame on Rhodesia debt as sanctions. That’s not being honest with ourselves. That debt was part of the initial negotiations championed by ZANU PF. They can’t turn around after the fact and point it as unfair when they could have turned down a bad deal
The debt Zimbabwe inherited from Rhodesia was supposed to have been a right off. This debt included weapons that were purchased to fight against freedom fighters
Yes we do understand the negative impact these so called sanctions or crimes against humanity by persecution brought about towards the economic recession we see in our country but you two guys dont be blinkered to such an extent,so many factors needs to be spoke about for an immediate revival of the economy, one point being the misgovernance by ZANU PF,corruption, mismanagement of public funds and resources which are all being done by ZANU PF,are you guys negating the fact that the poverty we have today, the rising inflation, decrease in domestic production etc are a result of the failures of the current regime. These are facts which you cannot nullify in a manner you are purporting to say.Lets be realistic, the irony of this debate is actually clear, you guys are actually on a push of ZANU PF's agenda and nothing other than that.
@@eltonmunyama2518 It was "supposed to be written off" by who? Is there any record you can refer me to where our Heroes negotiated the write off and it was never done? I can understand the principle and the emotion we can share about how unfair the whole thing is, but if we didn't agitate for it, then we are getting exactly what our hitherto oppressors believe we deserve. That's unfortunately how the world works.
