Nice video, but @ 5:35 you mention "tax" when really this would have to be considered "profit", a tax or merchant fees is really a siphoning off and disrupting the energy of the upward feedback loop. Similarly, taxation can further compound a downward feedback loop. A little bit of tax or merchant fee is helpful as Govt of banking intermediaries are providing the platform of stable trade/economic activity but there comes a point where if it is too much than it is essentially just parasitic in nature
+Complexity Academy Yeah it's a fine line in understanding what is the feedback loop pattern and what is siphoning off from that, eg taxes and dividends (instead of re-investment) are siphoning off but a little bit may be of economic value, eg taxes help fund trade infrastructure and dividends help capital raising etc and the question is always what is the right balance.
