I am happy that it's not only the Igbos are complaining about this bad government neither did an Igbo or Obidient made the report from New York. Okupe and Buala will not come out and attack New York times, their hatred for Igbos have turned them into fools and shameless politicians in Nigeria. Igbos are always attacked any time they express their feelings about this government. Every little comment, they will say that you're insulting them, that Obidients are Igbos/IPOB, just because we admonished this government. They said that we are angry because we lost the election. This is the only time the Igbos decided to support their fellow in presidential election since the beginning of the democracy in Nigeria because we saw the capacity in him. Igbos have all contexted in all the election in Nigeria, we never massively voted for any Igbo candidate because their capabilites were in doubt. Therefore, we voted the Hausas and the Yorubas happily. But the only time we the Igbos decided to vote for a candidate who we trust his capability, they started fighting us, and tag it ethnic politice. All because of their hatrad for the tribe "IGBO"

Echoes of the past Nigerian Civil War is still reverberating. No equality. A Government led by APC still somehow wins an election. This shows something is fundamentally wrong. I'm Yoruba by tribe BUT I prefer voting for the one I feel can better my life. This is NOT about ethnicity. It should be about a type of leader that can improve the standard of living of the common man on the streets of Nigeria.🙄

@@abayomiagunbiade3711 Thank you. But Nigeria and African leaders cannot just be jumping to anything the world bank and IMF tell them to do. The West doesn’t want anything that will make African economy better. They just want Africa to keep coming to them to beg and keep Africa under. Tinubu and his Ikoyi economics boys just jump at any monitory law the West ask them to do. They should start thinking Nigeria first before anything. Reduce import and export tariffs to cushion the effect of food inflation. We can’t be waiting for food we planted to grow over night to feed the whole nation. If we import food and add it to what we already produce it will crash the food inflation and we will have surplus food and crash the prices. If we don’t do that we will keep having food inflation. People are suffering so much in Nigeria today. Reduce taxes and give tax incentives to medium and large scale businesses and companies to be able to hire people.

@@abayomiagunbiade3711How are western countries responsible? Our problem is self-inflicted. Wrong policies, misplaced priorities and corruption. These are the factors bringing Nigeria to its knees. The western countries aren't responsible for these. The roads are bad, this affects distribution of goods and services, transportation to and fro cities are almost impossible, but the government went ahead to start a new road project, that has little impact on the current situation

There are huge lands that can not be farmed because of insecurities in areas know to produce so much agriculture. Skyrocketing price in fuel is eating away the capital for people to start and grow their farms. These farmers eat hand to mouth. They mostly don't have access to loans. I travelled from north to south to explore the country and I was shocked there were areas I could not travel or had to turn back due to insecurity. These things reflect on the economy

I think we need to pause this restructuring talk. This is not our problem. What has plunged us into this mess and is keeping us there is not restructuring. The president (current & immediate past) has put wrong people in positions, we do not understand problem solving, we spend too much on governance, we pay for Hajj trips, spend too much on insecurity and so on. These things are a result of corrupt mindset, and can be fixed without restructuring.

You see that economist is very realistic, that's why he was able to highlight most of the important economic ideas which if judiciously followed will help to develop Nigeria, he was not being political. He also said that he has not seen the present CBN governor doing anything differently. Now back to the presidency response about the NewYork time report, right from the time of Buhari any time that any agency criticizes the government, they will always come up with diffence and attack without carefully studying that report, after those diffence by one Mr GABA Shehu during Buhari tenure, how was Buhari administration rated at the end of that his tenure, of which that was the administration that this present administration keep referring to as inherited dead economy, but the civil society organisations talked about all the economic problems of Nigeria even before the 2023 general election, some of the major candidates were invited for a debate to tell Nigerians their understanding of Nigeria economic problems and how to solve them, in several occasions Tinubu refused to attend. When he and his party go for a campaign he was saying that he can develop Nigeria and he knows what to do like he did in Lagos, now the time has come to do the job some of there media spokesmen are now saying that they inherited a dead economy, that is indirectly telling us that we should not expect much from them.

It is quite a pity that one who loses it position from the 1st to almost number 7 in Africa economic index still stands with his shoulder above everyone in a competitive circle. The Igbo adage said that one who borrowed clothes doesn't dance more than everyone on the floor. How can Nigeria prosper when we see people who cheat from their agreement with another. In business or marriage, when violet the rule of an agreement, you are a cheater or a duper. Nigeria can never stand with its shoulder tall because they are now feeding their children with money to steal from their partner. So, to speak the truth, Nigeria is a fraudulent person or country. Mr. Alaje has said it all. The minister is of power is busy distributing rice in Ibadan in preparation for the 2027 gubernatorial elections instead of improving power supply in the country. Appoint Mr. Alaje as Economic Advisor, he would fail because he would not be given a free hand to perform and his like is not required in the system. Mr Onanuga is not competent to advise on the economy. The Minister of Finance and Central Bank Governor have also failed on the fiscal and monetary policies to push the economy forward.. And do the economy remains in a quargmire.

No wonder the country is sliding down fast, with people like these Bayo Anus -nuga who are completely out of reality, that guy believes what he wants and he's supposed to be special adviser to the president. I am not an economist but I even know more than those idiots. If I were the president I would not even bother traveling abroad for atleast the first 2 years. I would first visit all our local refineries and summoned all the projects leaders to give account of their project after reviewing, I will fire all of them and set up new contracts with strict ultimatum deadlines, then I will visit all the states and find out what's really going on because those states governments are only after themselves. I will try to see where I can support farming in those states with less violence with farmers .because we always here about that farmers and herders fighting mostly in the north and that violence is staged because they are trying to prevent people from finding out about their illicit deals. We don't hear about it much in the south, so I will invest in farming in the south while fixing the security issues in the north. This ideas of Thiefnubu traveling around for investor's is unnecessary and will not work. He needs to put time in the domestic work.😮
