This interview is one of the best for 2024 from a" risk management" point of view. I am watching it for the second time to make sure I don't miss anything. David Woo is amazing. He said lots of stuff we don't generally think about.
I really enjoyed this interview. Julia, I love how you recognize your guest is extremely knowledgeable and allow him to say what he needs to say with few interruptions. I learned a lot and my hat off to you both.
I share David's optimism and realize we have an incredible moment in time to go under the hood of America and the Republic and craft a vision forward that is far more sustainable than the path we're currently on. Great interview Julia!

All cash? Never wise to go all in on any trade. Even cash. You're trying to time the market. If you think you'll resume investing right after you'll likely find another and another and another reason to stay in cash after that.
@@James-il3tq Not necessarily. And a 4.5% return with no risk is nothing to sneeze at. Everybody "times" the market - listen to this guest - he's timing. Now if ya jumping in and out, or day trading, or Cash paying out 1% or less - that's a different kettle of fish. Don't parrot back what the so called experts spout on about. They never follow their own advice, that's why markets tank and shoot up.

He has been betting against SP500 and America to appease his online (mostly foreign) viewers. Obviously he's mad as hell now, as anyone betting against the US markets has lost their shirt.
This guest thinks everyone crossing the border is looking for work? Oh boy, I had to stop listening at that point. His opinion is now invalid to me. How many of countries of origin pay welfare, have free housing, have free groceries (EBT, WIC, etc) and give you a cell phone? Guest is completely clueless on this.
He said 80% which is about right for new immigrants legal or illegal- much higher percentage work than our native population-facts. You should listen to people smarter than you and he definitely is
I thought this guy was smart…until his predictions and forecasts turned out all wrong. Especially the election. He also says gold has no place in the monetary system. Next!
