EcoSport Vs Honda WRV: Which Faux SUV Is Better For You? 

Honda WRV Being a WRV owner for last 5 years. Pros: 1. Absolutely stunning interior space. It almost feel like you are sitting in much larger car. Also quarter glass make cabin full of light. 2. Mileage : Compared to Ecosport it certainly gives more mileage thanks to its light weight and low horse power engine. 3. Steering wheel : This is the best in the segment I feel. You can manoeuvre it even with a single finger. Absolute Butter. Was clincher for me. As I self drive my car. Cons: 1. Build quality: Though its build quality not bad but when compared to Ecosport ( which absolutely built like a tank ) it don’t even come close. And if you are not careful you will end up with some serious dents. 2. Power and dynamics: Though WRV not bad to drive but in high speed Ecosport is best. ( I have taken Ecosport of my friends to many part of the country). Engine of Ecosport behave as it’s is made for the car. WRV feels bit clumsy in this department. 3. Centre console and AC vents: All touch display panel is bad decision, it make whole experience less user friendly. Some time you have to slow or stoop car to make proper changes. Also AC vents is very noisy. Too noisy at high speed. 70-80 dB. Bottom line: Despite of above cons I am satisfied customer of the car. Mainly because I drove WRV mainly as city commuters. Where it’s absolutely shine like no other subcompact suv thanks to its exceptional steering wheel. Also my family member is very happy because of the very airy and illuminated cabin. My son loves it as manage poke his head out of the sunroof. But one who looks to take there car to long drive or some little adventurous terrain then you should choose Ecosport. Where you have to compromised with some space for some power.

Hi guys, I booked ecosport, and team Ford canceled my booking, because of Ford discontinued in India there is no manufacturer , my favourite compact suv ecosport story hogaya, now I am looking for wrv, wrv also good , but what you said you are right it’s like looking hatchback only, not like a ecosport compact suv, but now in India available market, if we compared with any compact suvs like brezza, kiger, nexon, xuv 300, all this cars wrv honda is best. Honda built quality is Good , 4 star rating Honda wrv looks class wonderful, and engine performance excellent Wrv diesel fuel economy is the best average is 22 km for liter

Good comparison but you missed many points like smooth use of touch screen in ecosport compared to wrv and fuel economy which wrv gives more than ecosport. You could have added Tata nexon to the comparison which would have made your comparison review still better. Ecosport is better built and more sturdy and better to drive than wrv but due to more fuel economy and I vtec motor of Honda is more reliable compared to Ford's petrol engine In petrol I think wrv would be better despite having lesser power and torque compared to ecosport . I wish the wrv could have had city's 1.5 ltr vtec motor which would have made it gem when it comes to petrol. But in diesel it's ford. Honda's diesel engine is not as good as ford. Wrv might give more mileage but ford diesel is lot better in terms of performance, refinement & relaiblity. Gearshift quality of ecosport is much better than wrv in diesel. Space wise wrv is better . You even forgot to explain about seat comfort which is better in ecosport. Are you joking by saying in terms of safety wrv & ecosport are evenly matched. Ecosport is way more safer car than wrv not only because of 6 airbags but also because of tough build which ford cars are famous for. You need to improve a lot in your future reviews.

In fact comparison between the diesel 's would have made more sense as wrv and ecosport both have 1.5 ltr engine with almost same power&torque output figures. And you could have added nexon ,brezza and i20 active to the comparison

Honda WRV is gud. Bt in the interiors the lay out design is not tat attractive and things are not placed neatly. Even the top line WRV misses out projector headlamps, split rear seat and adjustable headrests. Ride and space is good. Honda, Please do refine the engine during the next facelift.its very noisy...

Ford ecosprt is better but I always got headache and nausia tendency when travel beyond 300km/5hr. Not feel anytime while traveling in wagon r even up to 900km / 12hr. I drive accasionally from Delhi to gorakhpur but after experiencing it , I have fear to change my car because wagon r perform poor in long journey as well as in damage road. My father has ecosprt but due to this above reason I request Ford to rectify it after accessing cause

Why are you comparing these two cars - because they fall in the same price bracket otherwise there is no comparison. EcoSports, Brezza and Nexon are in the same league. WR-V should be put against I20 Active and Freestyle.

Make 5 people sit in WRV petrol, switch on AC and set for your weekend trip, it won't pull at all, here is where the Ecosport's torque (new petrol) moves ahead.. and fixed head rests on rear seat of WRV is the biggest grouse for this car because it comes with a premium.

WRV is nothing great vehicle which will have to be phased out in a couple of years....They have got WRV in the market because they have to phase out BRV which is a big flop show....only Honda car worth the buy is the City..... EcoSport is way better then the lot....however the All New Ecosport is nothing new just a facelift with a few tweaks to the interiors
