What I love most about your videos is how I discover new product combinations without having to go out and purchase something new. That NYC palette? Oh yeah, I have those colors scattered across 2 palettes and a single. But I never would have thought to combine them that way until you reviewed it. I swear by the essence of beauty crease brushes you talked about in your first year on RU-vid (and still talk about) and they're always in the mix in some way. I'll definitely try these out!

TheBalm has its own way of storing double ended brushes. It has a stopper that you insert in to the cup that keeps them from touching the bottom of the cup and getting smashed, which keeps them in as good of shape as they'd be in if they weren't double ended.

I used to have a very bad opinion of eco tools because I bought the starter kit and hated it because of the poor quality. I learned to love the smaller brushes(but threw out the brow comb), but the blush brush just kept shedding and shedding. Anyway, after your positive review, I bought the set for myself and loved it. Then my friend's birthday came up marking the age she was allowed to wear makeup, so I got her these brushes and she loved them. They're much softer than the starter set. You help out so much with your honest, concise reviews.

I was in Walmart today and I almost picked up this little set, but the fact that they are double ended stopped me, although I love double ended brushes for travel, cuts the number of brushes you have to take in half! Great review and beautiful eye look. xoxo

I just bought these for my aunt. She doesn't have any brushes (she was still using the applicators that come with shadows) so I thought these were great for someone who is starting to use makeup brushes. Thanks for the review.

I'm going to have to check those out! I only really ever use Eco Tools brushes. I have had most of mine for years and they work really well, they never shed and I've washed them so many times... they are still like new. They are great brushes for a great price. :)

I have my husband use his saw to cut my double ended brushes in half. He then sands down the edges to smooth them out. I also have him cut down so of my brushes that are just too long for me.

I actually just bought these last month to take on vacation. I have a Crown brush set that I was tempted to take, but was trying to pack as lightly as possible so when I saw these they were perfect! I have to say I've been very happy with them & they are now the brushes I leave in my work make-up bag. They're wonderful brushes & you really can't beat essentially 4 good quality brushes for $6!!

I love duo brushes cuz I feel like u get a 2 for one kinda deal....but I'm always at a loss for how to store them lol. Cuz I don't wanna just stick it in my cup holders. Then one side is compromised hahaha

I watched the video as soon as it went up and within an hour I had purchased the brushes lol I had noticed them at a local store the other day and was undecided until your review. Not a huge fan of the double end as it's a pain to store but until I get my hands on some sigma brushes these filled in some gaps in my collection nicely! I myself just recently bought these brushes from ULTA and they were inexpensive and they are really soft and I used them on the Too Faced Rock & Roll Palette *I also saw the video twice that you did a review on that for* So thank you for the two reviews. :)

I bought these a couple of months ago and they are my holy grail travel set! Love them! So impressed with the quality of eco tools, all except the buffing brush. It is good as a powder brush though, just doesn't apply liquid foundation very well. Still a fantastic brush. Thank you for this review!

Thank you for another great review! I picked this set up at walgreens and use it everyday. For my smaller, Asian eyes it's near perfect. I keep them flat in a drawer with the rest of my makeup. Keep up the good work!

I purchased a set of EcoTools brushes when I was staying with my mother,at the beginning of this year, since I forgot to pack them with my makeup. I got them at Rite-Aid, in a zipped pouch, included a blush brush, eyeshadow, angled liner and concealer brush. They worked well enough since I was in a pinch but I prefer all my other brands over EcoTools. I have some varied double ended brushes that came with palettes & I seldom use because of the washing and storage issues with them. Double ended brushes is a good concept but personally I think there needed to be further thought put into what happens after the application process. Maybe I'm just too picky. :)

I'm afraid to spend a lot of money on brushes until I learn how to really take care of them. Not just different ways to wash them, but how to store them. Flat,in a cup,drawer, in plastic bags or in breathable ones? What is better for what type of brush? I could watch more than one series on the subject. Love you♥Ive

I would love a review on crown brushes. Maybe even morphebrushes. Their eyeshadow singles are phenomenal (even better than coastal scents) but I would like to see how their brushes stand up. I'm in a hunt for something to replace the sigma brushes too. Quality vs price. Unfortunately, I cant say I've found a better alternative yet.

I bought this set a couple of weeks ago, and I do store them in the packet they came in. The only caveat is that the packaging, at least on mine, has a VERY tight fit. Trying to get them out always gives me a bit of a challenge - HA!

Thanks for this excellent review! I love ecotools brushes and own several. Love that they are cruelty free and so soft! I also bought the buffing brush and experienced "sprouting" hairs! I just snipped them and it hasn't happened again.

There is another Eco tools set with five eye brushes that has (in my opinion) a fluffier brush comparable to the sigma brush. It's my holy grail blending brush. :)

I love these! I use the angled one for my brows every day. The only one thats kind of weird is the smudge brush because it kind of hurts. It works great to pack on color.

great point about drying those brushes emily! i think they'd be great for traveling but how to store them for easy reach once you're home? that could be a deal breaker! i have a DIY brush tree where the handles have to be pushed through the opening. definitely wouldnt work.

emilynoel83 for those out there who are fans of the ***** brushes, there is an important detail in this eye set by EcoTools. This past Christmas RT released a limited edition set (Sam's favorites.....or something like that). All the brushes except one were part of their permanent collection. There was a brush exclusive to that set called "Essential Crease Brush". It is one of my favorite brushes ever. I was shocked when I saw this EcoTools set. The small crease brush is almost an exact match to the RT Essential Crease Brush! Just thought if pass that on in case anyone missed out on that little gem! Hopefully Real Techniques will release that brush again on its own. (Hint! Hint!)

I was lucky enough to grab the last set my Ulta had. I have all the other brushes to a friend who had been wanting to try them and kept the crease brush. I've only had one brush from ***** that I didn't like. The duo-fiber eye brush in my set was sharp. The crease brush is so great it is frustrating. (I need more than one so I don't have to clean it so much). Im tempted to start a Facebook page/petition asking them to release it again!

great video, Emily! I have been looking at some good brushes that do not shed. That is my only peeve with brushes. My blush ones are doing that. At the same time I can't go buy Wayne Goss brushes..LOL I have one of the ecotools brushes and liked it for concealer. I think they are a lot better than most think.

Hi Emily, I always enjoy your reviews so much. You are one of my favorite youtubers and the one I trust the most when deciding to buy a certain product. I think you do an awesome job. Also, BH cosmetics and Shany cosmetics brushes will be good to review since they are affordable and some people can't spend much money for blushes like Sigma. Hugs :)

Crown brush might be a nice one to go to next, i see them on Haute look all the time and have a flat top buffing brush from them but am hesitant to get other brushes.

I like the idea of Eco tools but the eye brushes they had up until now were just too large for me. I like working with a smaller more precise brush when I do my eyes. I'm not sure but these look a little smaller than the ones I have seen previously. Maybe I'll give them a try. Thanks for the review.

great review. I LOVE ecotools brushes. So super soft and affordable. Can you perhaps review everyday minerals brushes or bdellium brushes?? They're also affordable and I don't own any everyday minerals ones. I have a few bdellium but dunno the quality of the maestro series. That would be soooo helpful for myself and others not wanting to spend on brushes when there are great alternatives. Hope all is well with u and bub. Xx

I know this is an order video, but I just bought the Micro Blending brush by eco tools from Wal-Mart. I love it especially with my shape tape concealer. It also is great for blending eyeshadow. it's kind of new. I can't find any videos on it or any reviews.

I have seen those too but have never bought them... I have also watched RU-vid videos about those makeup brushes being just like sigma! There probably really good! :)
