Bristol currently has around 2,000 homeless people - but there’s a unique new organisation that are trying to tackle the problem.
Help Bristol’s Homeless is the brainchild of Jasper Thompson, and they believe that having a home is not an entitlement, it is a right.
Their vision is to develop a site with ten containers, converted into self-contained studio flats, providing temporary accommodation until a service user can find a more permanent home, all while offering skills workshops and employment support.
Ecotricity has funded one of the flats and has been working with the charity to explore the possibility of installing renewables on site.
