Really looking forward to seeing your T8+ review. Not as excited but also somewhat curious to see your Neabot review as well because the Neabot is a strange one. As you pointed out it looks to me as if it is pretty much a rebranded Proscenic M7 just in white instead of black. I suppose that has some benefit in itself for people who want a white one but I'll be interested to see if you come to the conclusion that the Neabot is basically a Proscenic under a different brand.
Just got the S5 Max. Love it so far. Wonder how the navigation compares with Roborock and Ecovacs. Maybe a future video? Interested in app features, navigation, etc!!
I guess the T8 might be considered Ecovacs previous generation now compared to the X1 series and the T10, but Best Buy had the T8 Plus for a good price so I decided to get it, and I'm glad I did. It's still offered on Ecovacs web site so it can't be that out of date, I really like it, it cleans really well and the battery life is amazing. As you've probably seen in my other comments, I prefer to run all of my bots on the highest power setting, the T8 ran for 120 minutes, yes, two hours on the Max Plus setting, that's the longest time for any of my robots. I'm really starting to become disappointed with my Roomba J7, Irobot really needs to come out with something new to compete with Roborock and Ecovacs. I run all of my bots with the obstacle avoidance turned off since I don't have pets and they will clean closer to things with it turned off, my J7 cannot complete the job when set to clean with two passes with obstacle avoidance off without needing to go back and charge. My new Ecovacs T8 does a two pass cycle on the max plus setting and has 45 percent of its battery left. I also picked up the Ecovacs T10 Plus which is similar to the X1 Plus, you may want to check out that bot, it's really good, the main differences between the T10 Plus and the X1 Plus are that the T10 does not have the voice assistant and it's a little less powerful. I now have three Ecovacs bots and I like them all, I would say Ecovacs, Roborock and Eufy are my favorite brands, the Eufy Robovac X8 is another great lidar robot. I will not be purchasing anything else from Irobot unless they make some major changes, they need to get rid of their VSLAM system and switch to Lidar, it's far better and they need a larger battery.
Awesome video! I recently came across the new Bissell SpinWave robot vacuum and mop. I’m bringing it up because it cleans in straight rows, it has the dual microfiber spinning pads just like the Samsung mop and just a bunch more smart stuff built in making it seem like an amazing robot. It has not been released yet but will be soon. Just a recommendation! Thanks!
Awesome video man! Can't wait to see some tests! I ordered the T8 AIVI version and the bin and also ordered the regular 3d version. Im excited to review both of them and see how they stack up. One thing I have heard is the base struggles to completely empty pet hair. Maybe you can test this with some hair like debri.
Can you use the self emptying bin without a bag? Does it have a removeable bin that you can empty instead of just using the bag? The bags seem impossible to find currently and they seem to be an added cost that I wouldn't want to spend. Each bag seems to be roughly $6 and last about a month. So spending $6/month on bags seems a bit ridiculous to me.
@@AdamsReviews so I figured it out. I have my drop sensors taped off because of a few multi color rugs I have downstairs. I'm not worried a out it falling anywhere, I have another deebot that stays upstairs. So anyways, apparently eith the sensors taped the vacuumed doesn't active. Weird. I took the tapes off and it works perfectly.
