ECOWAS Defence Chiefs Meet To Prevent Coups

Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa has called on all Chiefs of Defence Staff of ECOWAS Countries to work in unity to prevent military takeovers and undemocratic change of government in their countries.
This was said at the 42nd Ordinary Session of the Committee of ECOWAS Chiefs of Defence Staff in Abuja.
The CDS added that the threat of a military takeover of the government must be destroyed, as it negated the core responsibilities of the military profession

If you dont want coups in the rest of the region esp Nigeria, then tell the politicians to behave themselves. They are a big problem to us, let them mend their greedy ways, learn to serve the people not the people serving them and democracy will thrive in the region....the people themselves will stand against coups if the military try to take over if the politicians take good care of the people; so let them behave themselves and they will have no fear of coups or revolution from the people
