@@trollasaur3012 historically Africa has been extremely easily manipulated by others. It has been very rare when they have been able to unravel a deception and get out of it. The score is like 1 million Europeans to 10 Africa - mostly Magifuli is catching the deceptions. Poor Africans go to their oppressor for every single problem and election they have not realizing the chickens are going to wolf for help. Of course you know who is behind boko haram and all the jihadi in Africa - the new york times says boko haram has the most sophisticated drones in the world - and spectacular weapons top class in the world. So Africa with the ecowas pushing out desperate colonizers will not be the ugliest series of events in the world. - france is not afraid to start a full scale all out war over this. - Africa will have to realize they will have to fight everyone by themselves and deal with all the deception, economic sabotage and everything by themselves.
Yes ideologicaly it could be a good thing however if the currency is attached or controlled by the french government then its basicly economic slavery which will be joined to the one world order so irs putting Africa in line for the antichrist as it will go from paper to digital currency credit system the Oath ti the veast or you will be deceased
East Africa are not awake yet, especially you have a regime issayas aferorke, who is building more prison not college. And killing Eritrean people left and right
@@artzhaye759 Eritrea is not eastern Africa, it is considered as part of the horn of Africa. EA is made up of Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Congo s soon to join.
I love this man. Firm. And a true representative of African upcoming young stars. One thing i would advice the African leaders is that their plans must be discrete from western ears. They will intervene and delay the processes of self governance and freedom. We need to come together as afRica and cast out influence and do our own thing. We really have everything here in Africa. They need us . We don't need them.
We need private black corporations ok. We need these top businesses to work together for one agenda. You guys make life hard for us because its really not that complicated. I find it hard to believe that we dont understand that control starts with businesses and that we build a society based on a number of businesses which act as the base in each institution. I am looking for leaders who want to launch these companies that will actively employ our people to make our agenda a reality.
@@KayodeEdmonds yay they're so many of us. I'm an 18 year Nigerian girl studying engineering in the US and my plan is to work here for a few years while saving up money to start my own business in rural Nigeria
The difference is the Euro is used by enough countries that are rich enough to bail it out should it come under attack by currency speculators. However, many analysts have pointed to the elephant in the room, and that is Italy and its extremely high debt levels; should investors and lenders lose confidence in Italy's ability to repay its debts, then the Euro could come under attack which may spell the beginning of the end for the Euro!
I just want the west of Africa to have a voice, it's about power for me.. we can senction the west if they try funny business. I just want them to have that power. Our countries are not big to fight, we have to unite
Europe analyses African one currency risk because they have everything to lose. And Africa will overtake the west I'm economy. All the wests economy comes from Africa. Not to mention food and so on.
We don’t need People who exploit our country and do not like us,we are victims of hatred around the world but now we have to go forward without those predators
mxm you are talking bullshit. That's a south african woman, how does west africa having one currency affect her?She simply struggled pronouncing a foreign name and you go over board excited lol..Typical of most africans, living in fantasy.

He speaks English well but he gets sooo many facts wrong. Nigeria's GDP is ~400 Billion. He also doesn't talk about the elephant in the room, France. Well articulated just means house broken...not smart.
I love this Brotha. Very intelligent and not easily intimidated by white media . The interviewer was clearly shaken by the message he delivered. She ended the interview by grudgingly mentioning his name; and did not even bother to thank him at the end. "that is aaa,...the aaa..sorry about that..." Its a brand new day! Africa is Rising!!!!
it's common for people to struggle with foreign names dude, that little thing made you excited now lol?!!Typical african lol..Always living in fantasy..
I would love to see Africa be the leader in clean energy and protect their God given recourses that strengthen their dollar . Education is key to the progression and making it easily accessible will raise the bar . Treat your teachers like gold . I believe I will see something special in my lifetime . I can feel the ambition of the generation . Independence is power and leverage.
Way to go West Africa. Lets cut off the middle man and work directly together. One currency is a great start. Dismantling the colonial borders is the ultimate goal. We can do it.
Is better that Nigeria should continue to use our naira currency not changing to ecowas.that will make the poor people in Nigeria remain poor, let the Nigeria government plan for education work and light Nigeria need all this things. not planning to change Nigeria currency we are ok with our niara
...bro, Kwame Nkruma didn't speak of the African Renaissance, he used Pan-Africanism as the rallying call/concept...the Renaissance concept was an Italian concept, and President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa used the concept of the African Renaissance, which was given an impetus in his....l Am an African... speech...
Sorry to say that this currency hasn't started on a good footing with France beeing the guarantor! I'm very very sceptical. This is the continuation of French neocolonialism in Africa!
solomon obihan think 🤔 again how is Germany benefiting in the eu? With their largest economy same way we benefit if we use the German method n strategy right...
@comrade RSA Incorruptible this will be the opportunity to organize and restructure our country and economy in other to gain more, if not all indications are pointing towards lose
I love our currency name "Afro"...but we should if we do it the whole Africa will be out of debt in less than 10 years and it could help us with manage corruption little more...
Interesting that this guy is being interviewed and dropping so much knowledge, debunking all the negative questions she keeps asking, yet they never show his name and title on the screen during the interview.
It must not be printed in France and must not be pegged to the euro due to long term psychological effect of how we Africans will continuously see ourselves as lower to the Europeans. Also, the name of the currency must not be ECO. It must be a name deriving from other African currencies like CEDI and NAIRA. So first two letters of CEDIS and first two letters of NAIRA. Which will be CENA. It sounds fresh, it sounds better and the look of it looks strong and inviting. If the new currency is printed in Africa, it will create jobs for at least 1000 thousand direct and indirect jobs.
Most poor and developing countries are in Africa, the richest continent. The unity, brotherly, and understanding have been broken. Fixing it and liberating the minds of Africans would go along way. Citizens of Africans have great responsibilities to play, but the leaders have greater responsibilities, to stand firm and not let their minds be played with.
This is about unity and team work of Africa. .. looking at the risk is good but these risks must come with solutions and stop making some od the member states feel like they will loos everything when they join. .well is about helping and working as a team to remove any challenges that is there or may have come to achieve a better Africa for Africans. The EU had a strong mind set and worked as a team and now they are progressing which Germany never looked at what they will lose but rather keeping each member states back. Ecowas go on with the strong mind set, work as a team, don't let the tipical African minds and Europeans mockeries stops you from this because they are afraid of Africa and that is how it should be. If they did it, we can do more than what they have achieved as eu.
A problem can arise if one country takes on too much debt and wants to print money. The other countries in the currency union will not want the danger of potential hyperinflation by too much monetary expansion. In Europe, we have risked future hyperinflation by bailing out Greece. A better policy would have been to let Greece re-introduce it`s own national currency and suffer the consequences of taking on too much debt. Hopefully, Africa will learn from Europe`s mistakes.
Another important step to be quickly taken should be fighting to evaluate the devaluated African currencies against the euro and dollar etc which were purposely designed to stagnate our economies and undervalue African commodities in the world market. This must happen with a one market policy all over africa with regards to resources the world cannot function without and of course with a common currency Which is already in the making. THANK YOU AFRICA FOR THE BOLD STEP ON THE MOVE
This single currency will struggle cause as you mention economic realities are different.from one country to another Some countries would benefit more than other. All would depend on economic strategies of countries that share the currency. It would be difficult to set the value of the eco that suits all countries. For me Africa should focus on political stability stronger institutions education for all children then start the harmonisation process.
But currency is ped in Europe and its printed in France whats the difference print it in Africa and don't peg it to any nation back ur currency with gold and silver oil etc
So where is the central bank going to be located? Are those countries economically similar? Otherwise, you'll end up like the Eurozone where you have Greece which is suffering while Germany which is the main beneficiary of the Euro simply because the low interest Euro helps German exporters while Greece suffers because it's spending way more on borrowed cheap loans than it actually earns!
@@chrisoghenetegamaloney5799 well,I hope the other countries in the currency zone don't mind that as Nigeria will certainly be the largest economy by far in the single currency zone, just like Germany is with the euro although not to the same degree. So essentially, it's a Nigerian currency in all but name only, with a few minor economies tagging along in the single currency zone! Lol😂
With financial transparency and serious internal checks my bro all no country will loose. It's just like a confederation . Take the case of the EU, not all these countries that use the euro have the same economic potential. How can you talk about Guinea Bissau being a sick man in the block and at the same time advocating for a single currency and central bank for Africa. Men all we need is a free monetary and economic union for Africa at large or for regional blocks.
This is what all of africa needs to do,we need one currency across all countries in africa then we will be united Edit:we also need an african bank that will serve africa as a whole not only the rich countries. Then we should do away with borders.......This is what Gaddafi died for.

We need to tackle corruption first and create a level ground for everybody.not just the rich.and Nigeria should lead the fight against corruption. That way all africans will taste succes.

We don't need a single currency - what we need is education so we can tackle industrialisation with competent people at the helm. We have all the raw material and no knowledge on manufacturing. How do we get that knowledge? From overseas - that is how. Can't have one thing without the other.
