I listened to your track but it's really missing something, you are pulling off the same thing Horizon does though, which is the spiking effect. I don't know what it's missing.. It's just a bit dull.
For those of you ragging on the quality of the kick, please don't. If you've never made a kick before then you have no idea how hard it is. A hardstyle kick is one of the most difficult parts of the genre to create and master. If you truly think you can do better than Ecstatic then I challenge you to make one and upload it. #dontknockittilyoutryit
I've been working on making different kicks for years now and I'm no closer than I was. I've made passable kicks but nothing I think is production quality.
Hit my last bench pr to this :) Edit: almost a year later and just hit 225 for the first time a couple weeks ago. This one is still on my playlist :) 265 now hehe 285
