Terrible driving: It's an affliction so common, even some of your closest friends or family members probably suffer. But you can make a difference in the life of a bad driver by sending in video evidence of their driving disasters. If they're selected as candidates for rehabilitation, host Nick Stevens sets an ambush before turning them over to professional driving instructors. The instructors then work to transform them into world-class-or at least decent-drivers before we administer an advanced driving test. Pass or fail-there is no other option.
Know a terrible driver? Send them to rehab: We'll ambush 'em, get them coached up, and give them a final exam.

The only thing these comments show is a lack of education and empathy for people who suffer from P.T.S.D. which is a very common response to a potentially deadly experience which this guy obviously had. I think this show is awesome. I thought about nominating myself to become a more confident driver, but after watching all the judgmental comments, I'll pass..Which is exactly why many people, with problems in any number of areas, don't go for help. So think before you make your comments, maybe..(although I wonder if the negative folks even have enough compassion to at least not SAY something harmful). But in any case, I'd love to meet these guys for off-camera instructions. This show is a great concept and anyone with any knowledge of what's actually going on here, knows this is real (and NOT scripted as some think) and it is a REAL public service. Ignorance and judgments BASED on ignorance are what keep people from asking for help. And thus all kinds of emotional problems are never dealt with. And then EVERYONE has to deal with these issues as they stay firmly in place in people's lives. So, at least TRY to think twice before making nasty comments.. At very BEST they don't add anything to the discussion.

Guy reminds me of my ex. Totally insecure and over cautious on the road. I feel like people like that get into more accidents. Good thing I don't have to get in the car with that person anymore! Also, dude shouldn't have a license if he doesn't know if pedestrians have the right of way 😩

well done for his mate to help him sort himself out. being anxious driver is one of the worst feelings ever. and for those who think he is stupid for feeling like that. I gotta tell you it can happen to anybody! it only takes for you to be going through a very stressful time in your life for you to brain to pick it up when you are driving and that is how it all starts. Good luck to all the drivers trying to overcome driving anxiety, there is a way out of this!

if this isn't fake, why would you put someone into the chaos of manhattan driving if they're that scared of being behind the wheel? entertainment factor i suppose. i guess it's like if you can't swim, just let them throw you in? but i think if they really wanna help someone they would have chosen a different city...or a suburb for that matter. bc driving in ny is hectic as hell for regular drivers.

I was a bit scared to get behind the wheel at age 19. My first few months I often drove 5 mph below the speed limit and would sometimes get a little scared. It would have been a lot worse, but I got a 2008 Honda Accord for my first car and it really helped me out. I know that if I crash I have airbags all around and state of the art safety features to help me. It puts me at peace. A safe car can work wonders for stress. January 17, 2013

It's these kind of drivers that scare me the most. Even worse than some texting drivers. The fact that they can't commit let alone make decisions makes them do irrational things, like slam the brakes when a light turns yellow, even though they'll end up in the middle of the intersection. I'll take a confident, experienced, and controlled driver who texts while driving over a tense, indecisive driver like this.

All disparaging comments aside, if Jonah is a good boxer, then he is probably naturally focused on the space directly in front of him which is a fail when driving. I'd worry more if he was on a motorcycle. Also accidents will have an effect too. I once worked with a guy who'd been in a head-on and afterwords would always drive 5mph less than the limit everywhere. Not good if you're driving a timed route for a living.

The problem with this guy was his anxiety. You can't just tackle driving without dealing with his anxiety. Well you could try, which is what the instructors did, but it wasnt effective. The fighter guy was just too emotional. He should practice trying to deal with his anxiety., There are many ways to deal with past traumatic experiences.

I didn't follow your comment entirely, but I get what you're saying. I agree, but it's still funny to think about. Vin Diesel plays a tough guy in movies but is scared to death of spiders. We'd assume he would be confident in all situations so it's funny to see his reactions outside of our understanding of his personality. Pathology is a riot. :)

Maybe, but it looks pretty real to me, The truck was moving from right to left a little too. The damage looks real , both sides of the car. Do you think a show with this low budget would damage both sides of the car? And plenty of people have much weirder phobias than this, I think this guy may just be nervous and acting weird. Their cuts of the camera at certain times of the crash are a little suspicious, IDK.

i hate driving in manhattan..its just as bad as in italy..i work once a week in that stupid city and i really think that other than the cabs there should be special licenses to drive in that nyc cause i know 2 people who have died because the crazy drivers..thats why they are encouraging people to ride bikes and take transit..shoulda seen it when the jews were celebrating in the meadowlands..total gridlocked
