We have been hearing the cry about the political misuse of ED, CBI, IT department ever since Modi came to power. Investigated politicians cry "Political vendetta", misuse of agency etc. But not a single person has claimed that he is innocent, and is not corrupt! Every single investigated politician knows what is his worth - that he is corrupt, but does not want to be investigated.
Of course they have claimed they are innocent in their bail pleas. In PMLA you can’t get bail without ‘proving’ innocence. That is the problem - burden is shifted on the accused, guilty until proven innocent.

This is a common man's view. If any person is arrested by ED on some charges and put behind bars for months or years without even bail, his reputation and career will be damaged for ever. The fact is that in the thousands of such cases launched by the ED, only a negligible number of cases resulted in conviction. So what is the remedy if a person's public image is tarnished and his career doomed? It is reported the Enforcement Agencies lauch such actions against the opposition leaders only. How is it that no ruling party leader is raided and questioned by the agencies? When such action is initiated only against the opposition leaders, it gives rise to suspicion among the people of bias. Law should be applicable equally to all persons irrespective of their political affiliations.
This is why the government should think for the future while bringing any such dangerous laws which can haunt them when they are not in power. Same applicable to current ruling government😊

We need views of judges and experts on non implementation of the practise of every law/ resolution to be judicially scrutinised . It was in earlier discussion with the Hon’ble judges expressed in the interest of justice suo motu action be taken against laws or non implementation of laws / non Redressal within a given time so the citizen who does not hv access to courts is deprived of protection. This will make bureaucracy answerable . The executive passes a law or issues an order which ought to be scrutinised (not waiting it to bel challenged by the victims or a PIL)
These programs should be translated into regional languages and telecast so it reaches a larger section of people especially hindi speaking parts of the country.

When any institution is useless to people are closed down like public sectors like IDPL by Government. Under Article 124.Supreme court of India is established. When Article 370.Govt amended. Why not Govt of India can cancell the Supreme court of India or abolished because huge public money is invested but useless to people. It is a white elephant. One saying that Gandu hathi fouji ko bhari. Sir, file public interest litigation in the court. File and see.

I have seen Chidambaram arguing cases in the Karnataka High Court.. I still remember one case God granite (Income tax) how retrospectively the statute in the Income-tax Act. Though he won that case I don’t see him any better than the ordinary lawyers. He may be public figure .We don’t forget how he spied on Sri Pranab Mukherjee.

The Court of India is functional. If any one has any grievances, they can resolve their grievances. The disturbing fact is that some of the lawyers have the power to open the Court in the midnight may with merit of each case! See the draconian aspect of pmla, under general criminal law, the accused always presumed to be innocence unless proven guilty. Under pmla, to grant bail there are twin draconian conditions (a). the judge has to give a finding that the accused is not guilty and (b) the public prosecutor to be given opportunity before granting bail. First condition is almost impossible how an accused could prove that he is not guilty without any idea what the agency is looking for.

Because of some sympathy by judges are treated decently by giving bails, not making ED to attach their entire properties, bank accounts.
