As we welcome the New Year, we can all be hopeful that 2024 will be a year of change. Not just change to who sits in power - but to change where power sits too.
The only place they ever had a chance to win is in their shires since Clegg self destructed the party. Now with Davey having a role in the Post a office fiasco and not even apologising has killed the Lib Dem’s. The longer this goes on the more painful it will be and I’m all for it
Who on earth is going to vote Lib Dems? climate loonies will vote Green, the Red Wall will vote Labour especially after the Lib Dems position on Brexit. Students won't vote Lib Dem after their betrayal, Right Wingers will vote Tory or Reform.
@happyjonn9242 people in most of the seats across the south of England for starters. There is not much point in voting for Labour in suburban and rural seats south of Northampton. Where most seats are blue vs yellow. So the Lib Dems are the only 'alternative' in many seats
Oh dear this acted badly. The only places the Lib Dem’s have a chance in is the shires like Surrey . The fact that Davey looks like he isn’t resigning will kill their support in the only places they have a chance of winning. Plus blue lad is right Labour ain’t doing anything in the shires, so the Lib Dem’s inevitably imploding by election time is just a gift to the conservatives.
HNY to you too :) . Whilst I agree with everything said, we also need a positive vision for the future expressed more strongly (imho) about what the LD can do to improve the lives of everyone, not just the few, or even the many
Dullard Davey couldn't fix a squeaking door, the Libdemics and a joke party, I would rather vote for Lord Buckethead and the Monster Raving Loons, at least they do have some self awareness and know that they are a joke party.
I doubt if, I think Clegg the cretin would at least be able to say what a woman really is without soiling himself like dullard Davey did when he was asked that question.
Awesome. Well said. UK general election October 24thThursday. Support full PR STV voting system for House of Lords and British House of Commons. Italy good example.
Support P.R. however as a party member I am frustrated that we as a party do not embrace a full rejoin of the European Union! Rejoiners, which they are many, feel agitated!
