it just occurred to me that every Ed got their own starring role in a Holiday special, Halloween all for Ed, Christmas is all about Eddy and Valentines is mostly about Double D They usually like to focus their episodes on one Ed or kid at a time so I suppose it'd translate this way for specials too

13:07 If you pause you can see that Ed got so desperate for ammo that he actually resorted to throwing Sheldon of all things at the Kankers. On a side note, the biggest highlight from this episode that I came away with is damn do they eat well at that school.

You finally made it to the last holiday special of this series! One of my favorite parts is the one where Rolf took down Cupid Sarah and Jimmy and turned everyone back to normal. In fact it was pretty funny seeing all of those random nonesensical ships especially Eddy and Ed falling in love with Plank and a sandwich. lol And the face that Double D made at the end when he finds the valentine that May gave him, I'm not surprised that Double D made that face since that was literally the first ever legit valentine that he ever got from a girl. But anyway, I can't wait to see you guys react to Big Picture Show and finally finish this series.

I always love it whenever things in this show gets REALLY weird or crazy (like with the boomerang or the Kankers trashing the neighborhood), Rolf is always the most sane character and is aware of what is happening lol

I don't know why but "I can't, it's against squirrel policy!" followed by eating the note and "You're such a weirdo!" makes me crack up every time.

This is my favorite special. It's so funny, great pace in the story, animation. Thought Double D giving May that card was very sweet. Double D is just a nice guy, he's kind, brave and just a good fellow. Loved your guys rection to this master piece of a show. Ed boys will never be forgotten.

Did you know: this episode was the first episode to show the Cul-de-sac gang at school

Something I noticed starting season 5, excluding the movie and the first episode, is that the kids, including the Eds, are much more willing to stand up to the Kankers which we never see beforehand. They always cowered almost immediately to them besides Jimmy a few times in all the other seasons before 5. It was a nice change of pace.

May is the most mistreated of her sisters and to be honest the kindest one of the group.....i felt bad for her being unloved by her crush...been there sister! Valentine's day brings sad scenes for those who dont have someone.

Out of all the Ed edd n eddy holiday specials this one is the only holiday special that hasn't made any recent re-airings of it on cartoon network. Like Ed edd n eddy's Jingle Jingle jangle 🎄 and Ed edd n eddy's Boo haw haw 🎃 have been on cartoon network almost every year on around their respected holiday seasons 🎃🎄 but for some reason hanky panky hullabaloo 💝 is the only one that hasn't had any re-airings of it on cartoon network in years. I have seen Jingle Jingle jangle and boo haw haw multiple times because they have been allowed to re-air them both around Halloween 🎃 and Christmas 🎄 seasons 2 to 4 times per special each year. It was great 👍 to see it again here 👏 it's so hard to find all 3 holiday specials on any streaming service or to find even the physical copies on DVD 📀 obviously boo haw haw 🎃 is still my favorite of the Ed edd n eddy holiday specials but I still love the other 2 holiday specials too. 😁 I love that Rolf was the real hero in this special and saved the day do to his knowledge of the holiday season 💝 and defeat the cherubs / cupids 👼 that were Sarah and Jimmy 😂 I still wish to this day that the series had at least finished Season 6 . I know that the reason why was do to the fact that they wanted to focus all their attention on making the movie 🎥 amazing 👏 but I still think that they could have also finished Season 6 if cartoon network hadn't rushed them to wrap up the series. I'm just grateful that this series got to be part of my childhood 🙏 😭 I don't think there will ever be a cartoon series like Ed edd n eddy in our life time.😞 It truly was the best of cartoon networks shows.👏

Honestly, I kinda shipped it after this. Yeah I know arrows, whatever, but it did imply May is dumbing herself down on purpose to fit in, and Double D's kindness in the wake of her rejection was touching. So those two being able to bring out the best parts of each other was touching. It made a kanker non-toxic and gave Double D someone who was on his level to commiserate with.
