Unrelated to anything, but weird ideas for Taskmaster casts: 1 - several footballers. I don't particularly even care which ones. 2- Radiohead. Each member individually. Phil Selway may or may not have Clive Deamer do tasks with him if they appear too complex. I'm not yet convinced that The Smile isn't just Thom and Jonny doing a team task. Could alternatively do the Spice Girls, but I have a feeling Radiohead would be more amusing. 3- Just give tasks to random people as they leave pubs and/or stumble into a late night chip shop. contestants likely have hazy or no memory of the tasks while they watch in the studio 4- Who cares, just get Rhod back

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I want 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown does Taskmaster. Jimmy vs. Susie vs. Rachel vs. John (again, or maybe Richard Ayoade instead) vs. Harry Hill. Just an hour will do, and then I will die happily. But I'd settle for a series too. Oh, and one of the tasks should be Carrot in a Box.

A few science questions about the space thing. I have seen this done by a lot of science teachers before.... 1.) What are the chances that a plane collides with it? I'm sure that's why Air Traffic Control exists, to prevent things like this? Do people have to inform ATC if they want to do this? 2.) Does it go vertically straight up? Surely wind will change its vector. How do you know that the one you release in the UK won't float to Germany or Chile???

The chances of a plane colliding are about the same as a plane colliding with a drone or a party balloon, very low. Planes fly using certain paths for the most part, and there are no fly zones for things such as this where they are not allowed to be released (ie around airports). The trophy is strapped to a weather balloon, which is a quite large, clear or white or sometimes orange balloon, they're pretty hard to miss. As it's falling, a small parachute is deployed, so it's similar to a sky diver, again unlikely to be hit by a plane. As far as letting ATC know, in the US, a NOTAM (Notice to All Airmen) must be filed to properly launch a weather balloon. This lets pilots know that you are launching a balloon. With the direction of payload, the wind will definitely take them. I used to live 30 miles from an NWS launch site and occasionally had them land nearby. Sometimes they can fly for over 75 miles/120kms from the launch site. They're usually tacked by GPS. Hope this helps!

Mostly just came to complain about access again. We had it, here in Canada, and I watched every episode. Then your corporate overlords decided to restrict the show in Canada. So now I have to jump through hoops to watch the show that helped me get through the beginning of the pandemic. It would be great if I could support the show, but since I don't feel like going through hoops I guess I'll continue to block your clips

That’s exactly what Alex doesn’t want. He made this show for people to try. It defeats the purpose of the losers get a prize for losing. The whole point is to do the tasks correctly and win. He said it would encourage people to lose and that’s why they don’t do a losers of losers.

@@SeantommyE but to qualify as a loser you have to lose a series, which means that people have a kind of incentive to mess up their regular series. Plus I think Alex has said he doesn't like the idea of labelling a bunch of people "losers". It could have been a good idea but I doubt it will happen. Much more likely to see a Champion of Champion of Champions.

its not actually that big deal but it kinda builds up over the years, channels like this loose littlebit of respect and my enjoyment of their content every time they change title and post same videos over and over to collect clicks, same deal with most british tv shows
