2021 is becoming the year I exclusively vid ships in Batman's Rogues Gallery and I'm ok with that!!
I actually watched Gotham last year and have been working on finding a song for these two for literal months. And then landed on one of the most popular vidding songs ever lol.
But listening to it in the context of Ed/Oswald it just /fit/. Their whole relationship is a tentative balance of their ambitions and goals weighed with their feelings for each other. This song has always felt to me like the perfect way to describe that fear of risking it all for love, for looking too closely and seeing the relationship for what it actually is.

My god i need to breath...this was so...mesmerizing in a way? First of all the audio. The important dialogue parts and parallels...then the way you cut it was sometimes so quiet? Just separating some of the looks really gave some special weight to them? Truely beautiful.

THIS,ugh, this was....I am starting to get to the point where, having shipped them for years, maybe we did not need to see them get together as it were, this video illustrates all the bonds they have together beautifully and that means so much, they mean the most to one another. This is such good storytelling and this song fits them perfectly! Their relationship was easily one of the best parts of the show, I'm going to rewatch this so many times

Absolutely stunning editing, I haven't been too into this ship for a while but this brought me right back. Every clip was so perfectly placed. I think your video will probably inspire people to want to read and think about this ship and these characters time and time again. It certainly will do that for me.

While I never shipped them, I found their dynamic intriguing and you illustrated it perfectly. The details you highlighted to match the lyrics which highlighted the shift in their dnyamic throughout the show was brilliantly executed.

so you know i know nothing about this show but i had to watch this because its you and its The Vidding Song. Even though i know nothing about them or the show, when its your edit, it doesnt matter. I may not feel as deeply as someone who has watched the show but i still felt what you were showing. The pain and betrayal and how it ties in with the love and care they have for each other. The lyrical interpretation as always is *chefs kiss* and the classic yasmin shots are all in abundance here. This is vivid storytelling and its amazing!

Now yasmin we need to talk, I can't keep adding shows to my watchlist because of your excellent videos anymore, I CANNOT KEEP UP!!!! This was so mesmerising, I now feel the need to know more about them and the very special bond they seem to share, and it's definitely because of your incredible editing in this. This song is so damn good but incredibly difficult to vid to imo, and you did it effortlessly wow. I love it, as always!!

Hehe it’s so funny about the popularity of this song because I too have a vidlet with it that I’m working on 😳😂 anywho your editing is always phenomenal chica! I don’t even go here fandom wise yet I was intrigued the whole time. That’s a testament to your editing and scene selection. You’re just so good at this nature flow and letting the emotion from the clips show through. So good.
