It is so lucky that Ed was not a part of the Ishval war. Just imagine the things he would be forced to do as a dog of the military. He is lucky no wars went on during his military days or he would have been drafted and made to do unspeakable things. That would have pulled his morals into question. Because on the one hand he wouldn’t want to hurt the innocent or murder people in general but (like shown in the show with the philosopher stone after they figure out how it’s made and such) to get his brothers body back just how far would he go? The military is a big help in finding a way to restore their bodies so would Ed just leave the military so he wouldn’t get dragged into the war and used as the human weapon that many see him to be? Or would he stay and fight in the war so he and his brother will have a better chance of restoring their bodies someday?

Wrong language, and it's only implied. I'm assuming you mean that Scar's circle broke the limit on using tectonic energy for alchemy. Ed already has seen the Truth and can skip the construction step by making a circle with his hands and knowing the full extent of things within his circle. Ed and Al are both unbound by the "tectonic energy" limitation by this point. They've both seen Truth and are fighting on an even keel with Father. They didn't need Scar to unlock anything.
@SmolFenFen
@SmolFenFen 2 месяца назад
Your point only makes sense if Scar's circle also implanted the knowledge of alchemy without the limit of the tectonic plates into everyone's mind at once. Either you know and understand it or you don't. Just because the limiter has been taken off, doesn't mean people can use it.
