One of the saddest songs he's written. You can feel the pain in his voice. Also, the music video itself is so sad: empty stage, no one around, the echo in his voice, the lights.. so sad yet so beautiful. He's a powerful lyricist and a great artist.

This song is so underrated. It's definitely one of my favorites. The way he sings it, the lyrics, the passion you see while he's singing, it's all just so beautiful. He is so beautiful.

I don't think there's any singer of this generation who can just stand on the stage all alone, only with his guitar and yet make you go through every possible emotion while you listen to him sing... This is not a song. This is a masterpiece.

His voice, the fact he only uses acoustics, his look, the lyrics, the fact how the video is just him simply singing on stage alone... He is an amazing artist. That what he has, is talent, he doesn't need to make his voice "sound better" or he doesn't need help writing his music or making the tunes, he does it all on his own. He sings live exactly how he sound in music videos, he writes music for other artists. He is perfection at his job. I love it!

now this is the kinda ed sheeran we love, just him his guitar and a beautiful song. Much better than the sing video and song full of girls and puppets.

The difference between Ed and other artists who sing about love and heartbreak is that Ed doesn't and never has done it to be successful. He does it to let out his feelings and express himself. If you think about it the only song on + that was actually in the charts was the A team because that was his debut single, everything else wasn't in the top 40 for long if at all, but the thing is that his gigs were selling out without fail. He is so real when he sings and you hear it in his tone, the moment when you can relate to the lyrics is just beautiful for me, like this song

This is possibly one of the most beautiful songs Ed has ever come up with. He looked so emotional as he was singing it, I can not even describe the pure magic and brilliance this song is and that Ed is.

Some people seriously need reminding that this is only his second album. You can't criticise his newer songs for not sounding like his older songs. I mean it's not like he's released 3 similar albums and then released 'x' For example look at Arctic Monkeys: 5 albums each with extremely different sounds and all absolutely great. Just stop criticising Ed for being original and enjoy his music

Ed Sheeran has made so many timeless songs, but this one especially, is an absolute gem !

Ed is one of the most talented and unique artist I've known

One can live without hate but one can't live without love. Love is definitely a stronger emotion than hate. And I can without a doubt say that's what everybody strives for, whether they choose to admit it or not. Why do we do the thing we do? We seek approval, acceptance.. to be loved. Saddly there isn't enough of that in the world. It does however make it that much more precious when you find it.
