I dont think he knows how much this song means to a lot of people. It was such an awesome gift at the end of 2020, such a comfortable and lovely song at the end of that terrible year. It’s by far my most listened song in spotify
Can’t remember which one, but in a very recent interview he mentioned how he felt that the reaction after the release of this song was overall an underwhelming one. This song and the timing of its release really was such a gift to so many people, Ed. Don’t underestimate the message and emotion and power of your music!!
I hope he keeps taking breaks when he feels he needs them. He avoids burnout and his love for music (hopefully) remains and it doesn’t become a chore. Immense respect to him for knowing his boundaries and coming back better than ever
@@stacey738 that’s exactly what I was thinking when he released the first acoustic version of afterglow in winter!! This song is so hard to sing and the way he performs it shows what a serious voice control he has.. he is huge and the improvement he made through the years are worth noticing.. bravo Ed!
I think this might be Ed's most romantic song.. I didn't love it the first few times I heard it (I think I was expecting a Christmas single lol) but it snuck in slowly and now it's one of my favorites.

I've been a fan of ed for almost 6 years. he's having trouble singing this. Something is really wrong with his singing probably because of a technical difficulty.
Idk guys, Ed seems to have a little bit of trouble on other presentations. It may be cause he’s out of momentum, we are probably going to see much better performance as time goes on. Fan since 2015 as well. Other that this, his music seems untouched and professional as always!
