African music, as well as people singing, its like they are evolved alongside with it for long time, voice so powerful, it has a spirit I can’t explain
It still hurts me that south Africa couldn't create a platform for them... we need to do something about SA... talent, skill and other things are now recognized by other countries before SA finds em.
He deserved the GRAMMY award. 💜💜💜 The personal touch of his flute is ethereal. If there's an art style for artists I can say I'll know if he's the one playing.
This is wrong, our media likes promoting lame music, can u believe that I just discovered this awesome Ndlovu choir 2 hours ago. Why cant we get this good music on our radios.?
@@wkellerman you're beyond amazing!! I'm obsessed!! I listen to this song 24/7 a day i even introduced to my co-workers and we wearing dancing to the song awhile at work. I'm a proud African! Thank you Keller
I don't understand the language but I stopped drinking my juice and started dancing to the best cover of shape of you existing. PS.I have pressed the subscribe and bell button
...and here I was thinking they are singing in English & was about to rewind cos i didn't hear a word, but was "Damn she sounds so good"! What a beautiful language Zulu is!
WouterKellerman Please If you have an email address, I will be glad to have it as I intend to promote an all African musical in the not distant future. I think this group will be a force to reckon with. Thanks 🙏🏾!
This is Ndebele, zulu and Ndebele use the same words and grammar, then count xhosa and swati, actually you know what, stop with the tribalism Africans are talented full stop
WouterKellerman It's a huge pleasure! There MUST be a way for Ed to see this...Just imagine if he invites you to sing this song with him when he comes to SA in March! We HAVE to make a plan! Please contact me 082 8693 919.
Sawubona! Ngingu Shamille. Ngiphuma eJamaica 🇯🇲. Such a gorgeous language! There's something about Zulu. Whenever I hear it, I get goosebumps. I was blown away by this performance ❤
Disney, give these children and their conductor a break. They deserve the world stage. They have rough history and life status that is full of difficulty but they give joy, hope and love.
money may make a person powerful in our world but money doesnt make you rich. most rich men are poor inside. much love to my brothers and sisters all around the world.
Was in Tanzania for a week just before Christmas. It was hot and muggy even at night. But a lot of the locals still left for work at 4-6 am. Some of the busiest people had the biggest smiles. I dunno. The work is different over there, and it's hard to describe. But there's an interconnectiveness and a 'I can make it attitude' I saw in people, that I haven't really seen in America. The closest I've come to seeing it stateside was in the Midwest. It's hard to explain. But I was a little envious.
@@gugugatuke9106 Once they are in the live (audience) voting rounds, it may be a good strategy to appeal to a wider audience (especially American) by going more global in their song choice to garner the necessary votes to carry them to the final. (It will also show versatility, which is essential in a successful performing career's longevity. When they reach the finals, they can knock everyone away with an African classic ( I'm thinking something by Johnny Clegg or Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Mango Groove, Freshly Ground etc.)
3 years later I'm here again! And I still can't believe my ears. Everything is so well coordinated and the flute leaves me speechless... well done once again ❤❤
Don’t you see that unity? That indescribable sensation of oneness. Only some people and places have that. Africa is one of them. This captures the beauty so well. One day we’ll realize..
I love their hairstyles and their clothes 😍. It's so beautiful. The main singer is so cute 🤩😘. I love the language too. Beautiful cover, one of the best by far. 🏆
i'm in love with confidence of the lead singer to be honest. Her smile, her energy, her dance and voice is really amazing. (Yes I said smile) .. hahahaa.. Nice cover . With love, all the way from Tanzania ...
Greetings from Brazil to our beautiful brothers and sisters in South Africa! Thanks for bringing joy to my day with your amazing and captivating songs!
I love Ed Sheeran's Shape of you but this version is better and full of african colours. Thanks Ndlovu Youth choir for representing Africa.... Amandla ✊
When nothing makes sense, in joy in heartache, we Africans sing. It's the only language wr know that can truly express the deepest meaning of our feelings...I'm a. Mosotho in Lesotho and, I say this cz singing is the only thing we do as a united Nation.
The extended diaspora of descendants of kidnapped Africans seems to have kept this coping mechanism alive for the past 4 centuries, in the face of everything... It's the only thing we do with consistency, regardless of where our African ancestors were left...
I am not just proud to be south African but also an African..I am happy to see other brothers and sisters commenting from different countries..Music is the universal language that unites us all
Everything happens for a reason I hope they will get enough votes to take them to the next level after what I experienced these kids are special . its now to the Americans to give them a chance of what they can do. For me they are the best by far what SA has to offer. Mambazo are are on their league but this bunch represent SA and our continent at large. I know my fellow African can suppers this performance. When it comes to music its not surprise Africans can sing its in their genes.
As a South African this brought me close to tears. We're a rainbow nation, I wish there wasn't so much politics going on. We're supposed to love each other. And I absolutely loved seeing the cradle of humankind, one of my favourite places ever
I’m From Scotland and I could agree more! My dad lived over there for 5 years and he said it’s by far the best place he’s been to and he’s been everywhere; Germany, Greece, Dominican Republic, France you name it!
