it's so strange that i've just watched GG for the first time in 2016 and I miss them so much I hurts. I watched 6 seasons and it's not enough. It'll never be.
Me toooo! I started at the beginning of August 2016 and ended mid-September and now I just want to go back and watch it all over again. Chuck and Blair are everything!
@ella rose but they are both so different from their characters and yes, they do have great chemistry but there is probably a reason they aren’t together irl
There’s actually been stuff going on about some kind of reunion episode/reboot type of thing and that some of the cast members are interested in being in it.
When I saw him on the very first episode of Gossip Girl, I didn't think he was cute at all... but the he started to grow on me. He has an odd look, but it's so sexy. I think I really started to think of him as sexy when he began his legit relationship with Blaire on the show and said he loved her (even if it is just acting!)
in an interview there was a question “how do you play being in love so easily” and ed answered “actually being in love with leighton helped” leighton is blair
I used to hate his character in the very beginning but now.. I completely fell in love with him! Especially when I found out Ed actually has a British accent - that made my week! XD
This came up on my feed after so many years. It’s interesting he talks about Leighton back then and still talks about her now 🙂. And seems like he still has admiration for her. Even after all these years, I still love Chair on Gossip Girl and sometimes watch their episodes. Definitely one of the best couples on tv with amazing chemistry.
Honestly i want my future kids to watch this show because of how emotionally attached i am to it and even though it’s just acting it will always be a part of me! I just love their story even though it’s a bit unrealistic at some parts i have never questioned their love and always knew they would end up together! I just hope it was real life even if they were just close friends .
The first time I saw Ed is in Chalet girl and he's just soooo attractive. Didn't know he's in gossip girl. I just started watching last week and finished it within days now I'm obssess hahaha
can't decided between his beautiful sexy british accent in real life and his still very sexy kind of purring american accent on the show... ;( luv u ed/chuck
What made the show so popular and still is.. is Leighton and Ed. They exploded on screen. Season 4 is great but their characters become very compromised. Episode 22 was horrific and really ended the show’s charm. I believe with all my heart this was a season that broke more than their fans but them both as well. Season 5 was insufferable to watch and Season 6 episode 1 was wonderful to watch. A few scenes were great with Chuck and Blair. Their wedding was iconic but for the most part it was a cartoonish season. Dan Humphrey was and would NEVER be a match for Blair’s heart and neither the Prince. To promote the 2 last Seasons to “Chuck and Blair” was quite an insult to the fans and to them. The Principality of Monaco may have a yacht but Chuck won Versage’ and his yacht. That was Chuck- Blair, I love all of you- Ep 1 of S6 she says to Chuck, “it’s noble of course you don’t” loll ALL OF HIM. She knew him and he knew her and in spite of it all they loved each other. She never wanted him to change- just mature. He never gets over his “insatiable jealousy” either. S6 Ep.4 “A Portrait of Lady Alexander” -she knew photographer Brad the photographer-her quick response of how loll-He will always be her “Bass”
Michelle Kuang I was referring to him, not the show, although I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't picked up for a second season though. BTW - my original comment was made a year ago, so I watched it quite a while ago.
