The Edaville Railroad’s Steam Train Ride and the model train layout are epic and are sure fun to visit for.

@@nathancorcoran5347 I’m sure it’s a fantastic ride around the lake without all the Christmas lights out too. But man, that train ride with all the lights on was one of my favorite train rides at an amusement park anywhere.

Vince - First off: This is a BRILLIANT video!! You mentioned “charm” and this vid absolutely captures that and more. Personally, I would recommend that you send an email to the park, including a link to this video, as I am sure that they would be honored by it! Now me, being a huge railfan, was immediately drawn to the train. Because of my curiosity, I went hard into the info of not only the train, but the parks’ history as well. Absolutely fascinating on both counts!! (I really liked the generator car behind the caboose.) Until you mentioned that Zamperla was the 2nd coaster, I would’ve never guessed it!! I actually thought it was an “in-house” design, especially with the downward tightening helix. Very cool!! Now, about that Scrambler…. Wtf?? Honestly, I was thinking that you had fast forwarded the video, then you started laughing/talking. I couldn’t believe the speed. It looked like something from the German fair circuit!! Now, I haven’t ridden a scrambler in over 20yrs. And, I won’t be riding that one anytime soon, or ever!! That was truly insane!! Honestly - send a letter of appreciation to the park, and include a link telling them about experience, and your 42min long video!! I’m sure that they would love it, and be honored by it!!

Thanks so much, Jeff! It was such a fun visit. It's wild how much history the park has. I've only explored a high level version of their history and their locomotives, but after all that they've been through, I'm glad that they seem to be doing quite well now (I just saw on their website that they'll be doing a Christmas in summer event, and I hope it's a big success for them). Even though it's an off-the-shelf model, I do think that Zamperla is a good fit for them. That is kind of funny how it could pass for built in-house though. I hadn't even thought about equating the Scrambler to a German fair circuit ride, but I totally see it. If anything, it reminds me of those classic flyers like at Knoebels or Carowinds; ones where the older models are just on a whole other level than the newer versions.

Good looking park. The old scramblers are the best. Especially if they haven't slowed it down.

Absolutely! I’m not even the biggest fan of scramblers, but the old-school ones like this really show just how thrilling they can be.

This is a park I have been following a lot recently. Glad to see you made it out and created yet another great video showcasing this park that is near and dear to me.

Thanks so much! Growing up in New England, I’ll always have a soft spot for the surrounding parks, so I’m glad I could finally check this one off. Hope Edaville has a great 2024!

Very late video especially with Valentine’s Day coming up and the video being recorded back in December of 2023. Though something that would be useful in the video description is a link to the parks website for easy access so others can look and potentially buy tickets themselves.
