@@nicholaswillcox Thank You😁 Nah, I didn't make pattern for this cause it needs to be fitted precisely for a specific knife so the pattern would be useless for any other knife than the one used in video. Give it a try by following what I did there🤙

Sadly no, I didn't make pattern for this cause it needs to be fitted precisely for a specific knife so the pattern would be useless for any other knife than the one used in video.

It could be done after wet forming, but the process would be very tedious and my guess is that the tooling wouldn't be as crisp as made on a flat leather. In this design, shape of the knife "imprinted" on leather is decoration in itself. If You want tooling I would go with another design - pancake sheath. In that case You can easily work with the leather before stitching it all together and get that crisp tooling.
