If I may make a recommendation, a bandana is an amazingly versatile bit of kit, started carrying one years ago with emergency first aid in mind, then realized that sometimes keeping the sweat out of my eyes is amazingly useful! But, I carry a bunch of superfluous stuff like chapstick I hardly use, a mini tape measure, and a plastic spoon and knife, you never know when someone will offer you free ice cream and then give you one of those horrible disposable spoons :D
A cool light to check out is the Streamlight ProTac 2L-X USB rechargeable light. I picked mine up for $65 including the rechargeable battery cell. I've been carrying mine for a week now and it is fantastic, I think a lot of people would love to see this light!
A good trayvax link alternative is something that I did which is literally make a paracord lanyard with a big enough hole on one end to put on your belt and on the other and attach a split ring and to that a key smart mag connect so it’s a quick release
Same here, have been carrying a P07 with Federal HST for the last 2 yrs. I switch it up with my PPQ every now and again. Also, that Inforce APLc is perfect for the P07,aAlmost like it was made just for it. Peace!
just got the trayvax belt (not sure if i'm going to stick with it, i prefer leather) and my first holster from tier 1 concealed. now i need to get a gym membership to get rid of this tire that i'm smuggling. i've never conceal carried before but i'm pretty sure the goal is grab the gun, not chub haha.
That’s a gnarly CZ. I have the same issue with pointing my G19. I prefer to appendix carry a hammer fired blaster. Currently the Langdon Compact Carry (PX4).
Honestly balisongs are the most tactical folding knife. When locked open it’s essentially as strong as a fixed blade. If you practice they draw as fast as any knife besides maybe a waveable knife.
Absolutely love your videos! Giving me the want to make a better EDC life style and to practice more with my firearm. Keep up the great work!! Also coped one of the fancy belt of yours and fits perfect with my alien gear holster 😁
Finally a someone that EDCs a balisong! you need to try out the Alpha Beast or Replicant from Blade Runners Systems if you can get your hands on one. There are many more options out there, but it's pretty universal that a lot of people like the Alpha Beast. Kinda a gateway drug into flipping.
I picked up the trayvax cinch belt with your logo about a week ago love it. Also got a wallet love the product thanks for all the videos you provide enjoy watching!
I carry a cree ultra fire light a 9 inch spring assisted knife, multi tool, my wallet, keys, phone. I also carry a traditional pocket knife with clip in my back pocket. In total I carry three pocket knives. I also conceal a 12 inch hunting knife.
You were in my recommended videos & I'm glad I checked your link. Might want to consider a small cargo pocket sized TFAC in your EDC. Especially if playing with the balisong. :)
Great content as always talon after your M&P video I went and pick one up myself I can’t wait to see your custom work done on it in a video keep up the good work
I used to carry the Gen4 G19. I shot Not too bad with it. I bought the M&P 2.0 Compact and I love it. I shoot it very very well and it conceals better.
Hey Talon you can use the headphone adapter that comes with your pixel when not charging it. I have the same phone and that's definitely the part that I don't like about it.
What were you doing up in Ithaca NY? NY aka Chautauqua county is where I’m from. Not far from your area, aka similar areas. It’s why I’ve always enjoyed the channel. Keep up the great context with the channel.
A while back I asked Travax about that link , and I was told that they had rust issues inside the quick release . I guess they’ve been busy and haven’t figured out the problem of stainless steel to aluminum connections ? That was over a year ago, so time has been reinventing their wallets , because they sell ?
Is the trayvax thin enough to work as a under pack belt for hunting and hiking? Most gun belts will not work under a heavy pack without causing potential pressure wounds over longer distances.
Funny shit! I haven't watched your videos in a while and last night k just happened to stumble on your EDC videos and boom today you uploaded a new one....weird
The key chain on trayvex on their like update blog page they Apparently had longevity issue with the quick disconnect and are working on it before releasing it again. And that post was like year or two ago since then
What's been your experience with the i3t as far as battery life goes? I've heard the battery only lasts for about 20 minutes of on time. Is that true? If so, if much rather have an s mini or something of the sorts. Keep up the great work brother.
The 2.0 Sunday gunday convinced me to buy, carry, and deck out one. As soon as I picked it up at a gun store I was convinced. I am looking for a company that will do some magic to the slide ya have any tips
Tommy customize the shit out of it.... These guys who bitch about custom guns don't understand that customization of a gun is just like custom cars! When we aren't driving we want to do something to our car for fun... Same with guns when I'm not shooting I still want to play with it lol only way to do that is dry fire practice or pimp it out lol I mess with all my guns because just like my cars and motorcycles that's part of the fun of owning them
Hey Talon just wondering if I buy the always discreet holster for my Glock 19 gen 4 to fit with o-light mini like yours can you still use the holster without the light on the gun or will it not have any retention? Thanks for your help.
If you had a choice between the P10C, P-07, and FN 509, which of the 3 would you choose? I'm going to be buying my first handgun here in about a month (turn 21 nov 26) and am stuck deciding between these 3. P.S. it's for carry
Great video. I usually just edc my wallet, and a full sized usmc ka-bar(concealed when needed) but most he time on my belt. Thinking about adding a gun tho. Any good inexpensive guns you recommend?
They had a long lead time but i finally get my QVO holster tomorrow i can't wait. I bought it after watching your review. I also rock the Olight key-chain as well a very nice light, and for a wallet a ridge carbon that you reviewed a long time ago. I might end up buying a similar belt depending on how the new holster runs with my current basic belt. Love the vids Talon keep it up. Edit* I just bought the belt xD
I have been wanting to get the Trayvax link ever since I saw it on their site. I asked their customer service representative about when it will be back in stock, and even they don’t even know. It’s been more than a year now, and it’s still not available for purchase. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!
I had to sale my P07 Duty because I couldn't carry it apex with the extreme tail in it, but I agree that it is a awesome gun to own and nice video bro.
Grip angle on the Styer 9mm and 40cal lineup is amazing. Sites are of the trapazoid kind which create much controversy but i really like them. Talon review the Styer M9A1 try it I think you'll like it. PS they have amazing triggers too.
Glocks are meant to be shot from a lower center of gravity stance like playing defense in basketball. Then you won't you won't have to angle your wrist down. It's a defensive pistol where you're going to be moving and shooting simultaneously.
