I grew up in a very polish area - everyone was Polish, Catholic, and farmers. Polka dances every weekend and all weddings had live polka bands. 💕💕. This is the best music ever! Eddie B was brilliant and had the best voice! 💕💕

I don’t have an ounce of Polish in me but I was adopted into a loving family. My mom’s side is Polish. My grandpa loved listening to Eddie and I’d listen with him and dance polka with my grandpa. Such wonderful memories.
That's is awesome, bless you. There persists a generation that has lost its identity. Hopefully you carry your embodiment of those qualities and traditions forward.
I’m not polish but grew up in a polish area and my dads best freind was polish and my dad was a good polka dancer. He would be on the floor for hours. Even my grandma Saturday morning polka would be blasting every Saturday morning early. I’ll never forget my dad getting ready to go see Eddie b at the bayway polish home in the 80s. This music will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
Ok. As a Polish American AND the 1978 Mayor Bilandic 9:54 Chicago lakefront polka champion I got to win the contest entirely with the help of Eddie. I gave him the song we practiced to and the cue as to when we were done... And it was perfect! Thank you so much Eddie. He was the best.

When I was a kid until my mid teens, my parents and I would go to polka dances. Saw Eddie perform many times… one of the most infectious musical bands.. great voice and delivery. Brings back many good memories.. I’m in my 60’s now, but I remember those days filled with dancing and having a wonderful time..
My grandparents were very close friends with Eddie and they would travel all over to go dancing my pap and grandma were known well, Eddie was the best ever I remember when I was younger they would take me to see him
It has been 23 years since I have had the opportunity to listen to this Melody of greatest hits. Has brought back great fond memories and can say I owned each of those albums.
This so brings me back to my childhood!! I would wake up to polka music every Sunday morning, Eddie B was my dad's favorite...he used to sing apple, peaches, pumkin pie to me.....Love and miss my dad every day! Thanks for the post and for bringing back such wonderful memories!
I've always loved all of Eddie's music from the beginning. Waitressing for my Uncle John's place .. Personality Lodge, I got to hear and dance to his music quite often. Eddie's music and my dad Joe Hyzny's music was happy music that made you dance. -- Marian Hyzny Chromcak

I dedicate this to all the guys I worked with at Hub Electric Company on Grand Avenue and Oakley Boulevard in Chicago; especially John Jedraczek, Stanley Makewski, and Mr. Boyko.
R.I.P Eddie B!!! Horns always made the polka for me!! (Pittsburgh [McKeesport] here!) The best polka party I've found, as of late, is the BIG MOOSE, out of DuBois, PA. 102.1FM.
Eddie recorded a great song. "Johnny's Troubles". I just remember being a child, and laughing like a maniac every time I played the first 10 seconds. It started off with this line." Ay Ty stara cholera gdzieś ty był całą noc?"

Gus Javie, you mean Who stole the Kishka. I had a Frankie Yankovich album when I was in the Navy in stationed in the Philippines from 11/20/1978 to 3/30/1981. My late wife of 31 years who from the Philippines loved Polka music, also Irish music. I left that album in the Philippines. I was born in Buffalo, NY on 10/17/1953. Lived in the Buffalo area the first 9 years of my life.
